This is my Halloween village goals all the way. I love how it’s not overdone and doesn’t just look like a bunch of clutter. Everything looks nice, neat, and realistic. I’ve watched this so many times!
This is an amazing display. Love the moon and streetlights especially. Also enjoyed how you incorporated a pumpkin patch and cemetery in between the mansions, church, etc.
Outstanding 👏 I've been watching these videos for hours and this is one of my favourites maybe the best I've seen. Started collecting myself last year so I'm excited to display and add to it again soon! 🇬🇧
Fantastic Halloween Display. The best Halloween town ever!!!!! Love the height of the buildings and the way you did it with foam sheets I am guessing. Carved then painted. It looks so realistic. A+ display.
This is great! It looks like a real moment frozen in time. The pumpkin patch is my favorite! Great job. I have the Sleepy Hollow town that I put out every year but would love to have more. I don’t have the room unfortunately.
Amazing display!!, have you ever thought of a train set connecting or bridge between Christmas village with Spooky Town? I bet it would be epic, the 2 most iconic holidays with their respective designs. Like a vs type display or worlds collide.
This is so cool can’t believe I’m barely seeing this. I’m getting into miniatures recently and this is by far the best display I’ve seen thus far. You’ve really given me some inspiration
Absolutely amazing village! I'm new to villiging and I love the nostalgic take! Reminds me of an easier time! This is exactly what I would like create. Will you share some pro tips regarding how you created the roads, sidewalks, platforms, and leafs? Also, what music is this? Thanks you very much and again, amazing video!
Your modular sections are absolutely fantastic! All of the buildings and accessories blend perfectly in with your display, and I love when a village looks like a full scene/diorama like this. Really well done! If I had the room, this is exactly the kind of thing I would want to do for myself. About how large is the entire display?
Village Vignettes Thanks! I appreciate that. I think you do great work yourself. Detailed and well thought out. The complete village is 55” X 55” it isn’t really what I had planned. I wanted to do a huge graveyard. I sort of just mixed the completed ones together in a way I liked for this year. I had planned on doing a few more sections but never got around to it. Maybe next year
So Daniel I have made my bases and getting ready to moss my yards but I have to ask when you did the sidewalks how did you get the whole piece cut that thin to fit under the brick walls.
@@stevemiller1345 It’s a half moon disk. Sort of the shape of a glass paperweight if that makes sense to you. Flat on the backside and curved rounded on the front.
I love the MOON! Where can I get one for my Halloween village? I love all Department 56 Halloween and Christmas Snow villages. My 2 favorite holidays for decorating. I've been collecting Dept 56 since 1994. I even love the Lemax Spooky Wooky villages. They mix well with Dept 56 Halloween.
@@_Spinsticker thanks : ) ordered one of those last night. couldnt find the little street lights tho on ebay. do you know what they are called so i can try to google them? the small wavy greens ones i mean. :D thanks
Omg! This is amazing! I do a Christmas village and I am embarrassed of mine now. I have been wanting to do a Halloween village but I am not fond of the whole zombie overdone monster look I like the old school nostalgic look just as you have captured. This is exactly the look I will try to achieve. What did you use for the grass and how did you get it to mound? It really makes the village look realistic.
Amanda Pacelli The grass cover is an artificial moss mats used for floral designs and fairy gardens. They are naturally mounded. I used Autumn colored paints ato “Fall” them up a little more. I also cut them to fit the carved foam stairways and paths.
This is amazing. I love all the mansions. I'm trying to get a hold of Mordecai myself. I love the platforms and the creation of the streets. Incredible.
How did u get the glowing moon display?? And the sidewalks and street lamps? I'd really like to make a display like yours. Can u give me some tips. Thx. 😊
That’s the hardest part. I cut into the foam and use a blunt object to carefully push them into the base. I also add extra ground cover. I also use the buildings to tuck the slack on wires. Hope that helps.
I have my own Halloween village and can attest, it would have been impossible to do it without help from lemax products. They’re great too. Maybe ill figure out how to upload mine soon.
This is my favorite village I've seen yet! GREAT job OP! I'm using you for inspiration. Any advice on creating the sidewalks? I'm a big fan of the brick look. Also, did you buy your platforms from anywhere or did you make those also? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Ok on my way to building my own display. Can I ask how you made the cobble stone streets and stairs and platform pieces? Was it all made from Styrofoam and if so what kind?
@@_Spinsticker wow that’s amazing! Would you ever be willing to make them and sell them.? I’d be interested in some for myself. I think I saw you selling some on eBay for the Christmas vacation set around last Christmas, they looked identical at least.

I decided to start a halloween village just a few days ago. Your video has captivated me. It is just such an inspiration!

This put the biggest smile on my face, I wish Halloween was like this
Orange Juice Thanks OJ!
I think you have the best aesthetic. You actually create a village/town. You have streets, sidewalks and lampposts. Love your work.
Thank you
So clean and non-chaotic

Awesome display. This is perfection! Where did you get the moon
Hi Tom… it was purchased several years ago from a science toy store. I haven’t seen the same one again but there are some close to it on Amazon.

Thank you. I was trying to create a place I’d like to visit on Halloween. Spooky and realistic. The grass mounds are artificial.
Daniel, thanks for responding! Is the grass static grass. Or a grass mat? How did you create the mounding effect?
Amanda Pacelli The grass cover is an artificial moss mats used for floral designs and fairy gardens. They are naturally mounded. I used Autumn colored paints ato “Fall” them up a little more. I also cut them to fit the carved foam stairways and paths.

Karl Gephart Lemax Purple spot lights. They are still visible but tucked against the fence

How did you curve the wrought iron fence in your cemetery?
Karl Gephart I just bent it. I like to make things my own and don’t keep the value. I take a lot of figures off bases and things like that.
