    • @bluesbunny121
      @bluesbunny121 5 лет назад +14

      @@victorbicudo1374 When you say "stronger than ever" do you also include 1960-2000 years, when it was actually dominant ? Because nowadays it's definitely not stronger than in those 40 years of tennis.

      @victorbicudo1374 5 лет назад +5

      @@bluesbunny121 Sure! Everybody hit OHBH those days, but they were not the lethal weapons they are today. The modern OHBH is capable of firing winners from everywhere on the court.

    • @bluesbunny121
      @bluesbunny121 5 лет назад +10

      @@victorbicudo1374 Sure, you can fire blazing winners, that's true, but in the "modern" game most people value consistency from the baseline and I am sad to say but the 2HBH definitely has an edge in consistency. You can also see it in matches, for example Thiem's opponents always target his backhand a lot more because that's where he is weaker and a lot more inconsistent . I also see this most of the time in Shapovalov's and Tsitsipas' matches where opponents will just rally cross-court to their backhands and wait for them to change direction and go down the line because that's a low percentage shot which is harder to do with the 1 hander...but it's so satisfying when you actually hit a clean winner with the 1HBH down the line :)

    • @victorbicudo1374
      @victorbicudo1374 5 лет назад +4

      @@bluesbunny121 You've got a good point, but i think the backhand is more targeted than the forehand regardless if it's one handed or two handed. I'm sorry i "sounded" rude with my first reply to you, but this "1HBH is dying, don't let it die" annoys me a bit, because ive been hearing it for decades and good one handers keep coming strong. Cheers!

    The biggest swing of the game was the long game with Gusic-Wan serving 4-3 in the third set. 4 deuces to break. When SBOROWSKY lost that game, the momentum CLEARLY shifted to Gusic-Wan.
    It can seen that SBOROWSKY felt disappointed losing it.

      Do you recall why you stopped? I played when I was young and stopped because it was all coaching, rarely any time playing with friends because I was like 9 years old. Couldn't just hit up friends on Facebook and drive to court. Facebook didn't exist, smartphones weren't standard quite and even then I was too young to drive.
      Parents gotta help make it happen. I didn't think of it though. But I play now almost every day and I love it. I'm pretty good but these kids are definitely better. Much more consistent. I wonder if I could out power them.

    Good to see they still learn young kids one-handed backhands.

    One Handed Backhand is a real art, it's cool to see a child at this age plays well like that, I can never appreciate the two hand backhand as I appreciate when the player use one hand backhand! Maybe because I love Roger Federer and his style, I like to see Wawrinka, Richard Gasquet and Almagro playing only because the all use one hand backhand

    What a great tennis for those kids. While watching those boys play the game I know why today EU dominates this game and different from rest of the world. Some people said that they play moon-ball, pusher...but if you look carefully they are not defensive style players. They wait for a chance and then step into the court, close to the net and finish the point.

    wow so good, i was suprised though that a lot of their shots did not reach past the service line and in the target zone. Besides that though they were both really good players, and i was suprised how well the kept their calm even with all those people watching them.
