Chad, Thank you for watching! That's the goal of these videos - trying to teach something new!
I'm still stuck on trying to explain to my kids what a phonebooth is 🥴
Hahaha that's funny...and so true.
When I’m swinging should I lean my back like back when I’m going through the swing my back is arched like I’m moving my front body back
Great video and great advice!
Thank you Cactus! I appreciate you.
😊
Great video! Definitely think it will help me.
Thanks for watching Luke!
Hey Man! I have a problem with slouching too much so I dip how do I fix it?
I play in college, and i still have a habit of turning my back when a ball is going to hit me. I think its a fastball and it ends being a curveball right down the middle. What do i do?
3 answers come to mind;
1, you're probably too close to the plate. I had this happen to me for a brief time. I couldn't pick up sliders because I was too close to plate so my adjustment was back off 6 inches and that definitely helped me.
2, train yourself to swing at that pitch. Go to the cage and set that curveball up. At your level, they don't throw inside that often so just from statistics, you can bet that if the ball comes at you, its going to be a curveball or slider.
3, the last thing you can do is sit on the curve. If they are throwing it to you a lot, then sit on it. All you have to do is hit it hard once, and they will change there tactic.
Let me know which one you choose.
@@JermaineCurtis55wow backing off the plate helped a lot. I still get fooled a bit but I don’t turn my back.
That's a start! Glad to see it helped.
My coach said the hole in my swing right now is getting long and not turning to slot.
great video
Thank you! I appreciate you
Appreciate you Jermaine!
Awesome! Appreciate you too. What did you like about this video?
I was overthinking my swing a little bit, and was trying everything thing I could to get a better result. But after looking at my swing I found that most of the time my bad results were because of timing. I am now simplifying my swing and have used the UCLA drill to be consistently on time.
Yeah, usually it's a timing issue for players of your age. Like I said, you don't play as much. But it's something that you can work on.
For sure
I really liked how you didn’t focus on completely changing a kids swing, especially the last tip about believing in yourself, I learned that from you and it helps me out with baseball and everyday life
Another banger
Thank You Giyon!
