Not every parent deserves a child but every child deserves a parent. Although Minato and Kushina definitely deserved to be with Naruto like a family.

This is definitely the most heartbreaking episode of the entire series imo. Jiraiya's death was pretty close, but everything about this situation was so hopeless and unfair. Minato and Kushina were two of the purest characters in the Naruto universe, and for them to die on the day their child was born like this was so fucked up.

This guy is like 1 on emotion scale and the girl is like 10)) But not gonna lie i defenetly cried a lot when i first watched it. This moment is one of the saddest and heaviest in the series, for sure.

Everytime I watched their last moment with Naruto it never fails to put me in tears. Their love is so pure, its a shame it was short-lived. Devi is right when she said "Parent's love, he thought he lost it but it was there all along.." Can't wait for them to watch the Naruto the Last Movie. ;)
Finally we are here, this episode's still the one that makes me cry everytimes I watched it, those last Kushina's words gives so much feels, really one of my favorite anime's episode of all time, glad it touched you guys as much as me

At the "Naruto to Boruto Te Live" event in 2019, fans named the scene of Kushina and Minato saying goodbye at the hour of death as the most emotional scene in the anime. Really a very strong, beautiful and emotional moment.
The music when kashina talks to Naruto makes 10x sadder 😭😭😭, this part always makes me cry, however!
About Kyuubi "reviving" it was explained in a filler arc with the three tails. If a jiinchuriki dies,with the beast still inside of them. The beast will also die temporarilly but his chakra will reform in like 10/15 years and the beast will revive itself free

Although we really haven't seen kushina fight, her feats are really crazy. Remember how gaara instantly died when shukaku(was kazekage) was taken from him. Naruto almost died too(naruto has crazy resilience, maybe due to his uzumaki leniage). and then there is kushina who still had enough strength to hold down the full nine tails while literally on her death bed. The same nine tails the enirety of the leaf village including the 3rd was trying to hold down. It's madness when you think about it
dont forget, this also happened SOON AFTER giving birth as well.

If you're interested in an alternative universe where Naruto grows up with both parents, Road to Ninja (the second to last Naruto movie) is a great to watch. In terms of wholesomeness of Naruto's family, that movie is on par with the main timeline.

When a Jinchuriki dies, the tailed beast also dies (temporarily). However, it gets resurrected on its own after a certain period of time.
That is due to the fact, that tailes beasts are literaly hate. And when hate forms again they will be reborn again. Sadly hate will always happen sooner or later. And even Naruto can't change that. Without hate there will be no true love, which is exacly what madara wants to create. A fake piece world.
I never cried in animes like anohana, angel beats, and other similars. But I always cry everytime I rewatch this part 😭
I don’t blame you. The Minato/Kushina backstory is just so well created from start to finish. Kishimoto delivered perfectly on this one. I put it up there with Itachi’s story.
lord third was entrusted to take care of both sasuke and naruto, and look at the childhood of those two. :D
To this day, I still don't understand why the Third Hokage didn't just give Naruto to Jiraiya. At least Jiraiya would have shown him more love then what the Third Hokage put Naruto through.

@@crimsonzatz4492 the answer is quite simple. The author didn't think of all of that backstory back when he started Naruto. So there's things like this that doesn't make much sense and we just have to accept that the 3rd hokage fucked up a lot for no reason even tho everyone always praise and love him for caring about everyone.

If you wonder what it would look like if we had a happy family with a Naruto-like kid and a loving parents, one of which is a strongest Hokage, you can get a glimpse of it in Boruto. Makes you realize that things not always go perfect even if you have a perfect conditions for them.
Imagine how consuming of chakra does minato paid in this battle.. specially using those sealing jutsus of uzumaki clan and the 2nd hokage's jutsu. Yet he has mastered those techniques.
Using fying raijin quite a few times against "MADARA"
Using flying raijin to teleport tailed beast bomb
Using another flying raijin to teleport kyubii himself
Using reaper death seal
Using eight trigam to seal half of kyubii to his body
and using another eight trigam to seal the other half of kyubii inside naruto.
He does not get his nickname "yellowflash" for nothing..

RIP Minato and Kushina. Also i feel like people really don't point it out much but Kushina is such a badass. Minato was barely able to hold half of nine tails chakra in his body but she was able to hold the whole thing. She was strong inside and out.

The first time watching this episode you will say it's the saddest episode, but when you watch it again you will say it's the most beautiful episode in the show.
Kushina definitely has less screentime than 10/10 ( she had alot in og ) but that didn't stop her to steal out hearts and having a great impact on the plot and our mc .. . Screentime doesn't matter . It's your relativity that matters ... . 💯🔥❤
Most of the people in the village didnt know he was minato and kushina's son. All most of them knew was that he has the ninetails inside him, which killed many of their loved ones and their leader at the time... so it kinda makes sense that the villagers didnt like him, he was a punk ass kid running around being crazy, with no parents and special treatment from the government, because he has a nuke inside him that makes their village a target of other powerful enemies... that's all they knew, I wouldnt like that kid either probably.
I still question why they wouldn't have told the villagers the truth to change the narrative about Naruto. He could have had it a lot easier. I wish he would have been with Jiraiya the whole time instead of being so lonely.

Amazing analysis. I cherish this flashback, but thanks to you, I realized the poetry of Minato and Kushina's wholesome and outgoing personalities that saw them through many hardships is now the reason Naruto had no hard feelings about being a Jinchūriki despite the hardships that put him through. Kushina's tears hit harder now incredibly.

This episode really showed the realization of Minato's and Kushina's towards responsibility towards everyone and their duties.
This episode also shows that how much of monster both kushina and Minato were as shinobi.
The ability of Minato decision making in any situation and farsight to make plans for future in all these situations even after being mortally injured and mentally exhausted after dealing with all this shit around him, but still made plans for future. Legend for reason.
And also Uzumakis are really monster when it comes to physical department. Especially kushina. Even near death she made kurama her bitch. Naruto was half Uzumaki but still just after being born was able to handle half worth of chakra of Kurama is also insane.
Both Minato and Kushina had potential to be near six path level if given time.

Kushina wanted Naruto to grow like kid Obito and he really did. But fate played with everyone. Obito touched Naruto on his birth day and Naruto did exact opposite to that.
Every time I watch Naruto I see just how hard it must be to be an Hokage!! The decisions they made for their homeland and the length they are willing to go!!
For instance here no matter how much Minato trusts Naruto, it doesn't change that in an instant he decided to bet with his only child's happiness & wellbeing so that he could one day be the hero who protects the village!!!

If you guys remember , in the ED song for this arc. It describe the situation and the feelings that happen to naruto, and then Kushina come to hug naruto, to give him a courage to break his doubt and confuse feeling about what he must to do for his life and friend's (especially sasuke).
