Im a bit late. Well, I really love this kind of Nomy sometimes. Literally, songs like Society Falls and Straight Ahead even. Thats fun. But my favourites finally lyrical things as Let the Sun Die, I Once Had a Heart, This Heart of Ice etc.
Hell yeah man, I was just listening to Let The Sun Die. Such great song. I love the chorus, especially the "and I will pay my sins with my own blood", somehow this lyric just feels so powerful. Nomy needs to make a series dedicated to explaining his thought process when making these classic old songs/albums and sharing some trivia about all of them. It'd be awesome. To your list I'd add also "The Piano", for me, a true lyrical masterpiece, beautiful song. Although Nomy has so many of these I would have a hard time picking top 10... more like top 100.
