- If clean water leaks from between the tank and the machine when the tank is installed, then you need to replace the donut gasket that's under the gray cover on the machine. It's Saeco part number 996530015823 and costs about $5. If the tank leaks while NOT installed, then you need the tank kit which is the plunger, o-ring, and spring. You can buy ALL of these parts together for $15 if you search for B00CMSIKW8 on Amazon.
My machine is over ten years old and has 20,700 coffees on the internal counter. About a year ago it started leaking when the tank was not installed. Then recently we found a big puddle on the counter and floor because it started leaking when it was installed also. So I'd recommend buying the full kit and replacing both when either fails. It's cheap insurance against having to go days without coffee.
Thank you very much, you helped a lot, I have a Saeco Xelsis but the unit with the gasket is exactly the same as yours.
Going through coffee withdrawals, thank you kind sir

Thx a lot, where can I purchase this black rubber ring? Or how can I find it?r
great video, cant seem to find the full kit on amazon anymore (says unavailable) but for everyone else, there are tons of kits on ebay for this. usually more expensive for me (shipping) but its all there and more. ordered everything he mentioned above and am excited to have a leak free machine (at least i hope?)
Cheers!
Sorry, I really don't have any other specific ideas. I'd just start googling the info to see if other places have them. I know there are two companies out there doing work on these and selling parts, but I just don't recall the names.
wish that you'd done that vid on leaky water tank.......
LOL, but I'm glad I didn't NEED to fix a leaky tank...
