You know I`ve been playing this game for FAR too long when this conversation sounded very normal.
It makes perfect sense.
Its technically normal in places like Japan. Wives think that their husbands going to the prostitution places so called "soapland" is not cheating and normal for them because "there is no feelings attached. Granted, Japan is know to have one of the very high sexless marriage percentage in the world, which contributes to this idea.

Night City is the horniest city in all of video games
Cyberpunk 2077 answering the real questions.
this is like...the least fucked random interaction to stumble into lol.
Honestly, the dude has a point. I'm not sure if I'm convinced, but damn.
Alright fine. Im convinced. Ill buy the damn game as soon as my new PC comes in.
When Current Year's got ya down, with it's super safe writing, Cyberpunk will always be there for ya.
I have actually no joke had disturbingly similar conversations with my coworkers.
Just two bros having a culturally enriched discussion
Night city makes even Blade Runner look less dystopian.
It's like sex addiction has become the full norm and is running men's lives.
I feel like Cyberpunk 2077 leans more heavily into dark comedy and satire to make its point, while Blade Runner has much more of a fatalistic neo-noir tone. Both are very good at what they are trying to do.
i seriously hope there will be the whole cyberpunk playthrough available when he has finished the game
He looked more amused than mindbroken but maybe that's just me.
Im sorry, WHAT DISCUSSION did we walk into, here????
The difference between Cyberpunk and Starfield 😂
Funniest ending would be if then both NPCs looked at asmon to contribute to the conversation :D

Make sense. Unironically some guys probably have discusion like that in a real world right now lol.
My only surprise is that this wasn't a 90 minute video.
Yes. This is how you make the world feel lived in & alive. Some random cowboy & some uptight normie choomba discussing the semantics of whether using a blow up doll is considered cheating is far more interesting than the ENTIRE fucking Starfield main quest.
The fact that someone wrote this is incredible
now thats game of the year material right there

It's a pity the money men didn't give them time to finish the game properly before release. Would have gone down as one of the greatest games ever.

Good God CDPR is so happy Starfield came out
On god. Cyberpunk beats the shit out of it in every conceivable way. Graphics, interactions, dialog, gameplay, actually immersive and the list goes on and on. Starfield simply just advertised cyberpunk even harder for literal Free.

This guy is going the extra mile ro excuse his cheating🤣🤣
He's right though. It doesn't make sense if you haven't played the game but the workers in doll houses get their consciousness shut off and an automated program takes over when they're with clients. They're just ultra deluxe sex dolls.
@@anitaremenarova6662
Okay cool, you're still fucking a person though.
@@anitaremenarova6662 I mean sure, but the dolls are much more lifelike than actual toys. And they're basically dream girls/guys projected directly from the client's subconscious. So, in theory, their partners could never compare to them and it would be nearly impossible for the client not to get emotionally attached to some degree.
@@anitaremenarova6662
Your argument is invalid simply due to the fact that you're going to a "doll house" *specifically* to have sex with a living person who won't remember anything. You KNOW it's cheating, so you try to excuse it by fucking someone who won't remember what happened.
@@atrocious7766 I mean, if you're such a shitty partner that an AI can replace you then you've got other issues to worry about.
If you actually take the time to listen to people in NC it's like GTA radio on steroids with a Cyberpunk twist. If you decide to read you'll find some really funny and interesting stuff. But also some of the darkest stuff you'll see in any game.
I mean Evelyn Parker's whole story for example. She messed up so the voodoo boys hacked into her cyberware and basically gave her cyber tetanus, epilepsia and destroyed her. Then her boss brutally R'd her over and over and handed her off to his men as a play thing. Then he sold her off to the creepiest of creepy doctors "fingers". Who eventually sold her (through that husband killer bsh Wakako) to SCAVENGERS who used her to make sex tapes (they make snuff and extreme stuff). AKA the guys you saw at the start. Who rip cyberware from living people and butcher them for fun. (PS. If you did the side gig where you have to off or kidnapp tigerclaww scav boss Jotaru in his casino, you'll see what they do to people upstairs. It's horrific, mails on his PC talking in code about the new supply trafficking victims they've got etc, bed with chains and covered in blood, half chopped up corpses with their cyberware ripped out etc)
An average AAA game in 2023 would never ever allow 1/10000th of that to happen to any "stronk woman". Evelyn was the strong woman type who tried to move up in the world by stepping on others (like everyone else does on NC.) But she stepped on the wrong people and ended up being horrifically abused while awake and there for all of it but not being able to resist. Then when we manage to save her. She takes her own life. It's fkn dark.
Also her whole background the dolls, etc all copied from Neuromancer and Johnny Mnemonic. She's specifically modelled after Molly Millions except Parker isn't a razor girl (Molly works as a doll so she can pay for millitary cyberware upgrades, its forbidden to work as a doll with her implants. Her bosses find out but instead of firing her start secretly using her for snuff movies untill her chip malfunctions and she wakes up covered in blood next to the mayor and a dead girl)
Dang, is this just written in some diary or did you have to follow an entire quest line to learn all those events?
She killed herself. And not only was she not comatose as you say, she was fully aware, and reliving that entire nightmare before deciding to off herself.

Cyberpunk npc and dialogues are so good, the body language is on point.
Not perfect, but it is quite immersive sometimes.
I once witnessed a n***a moment in cyberpunk. I was leaving that ripperdocs place on jig jig street and two dudes were arguing about some shit. It was Interesting so I listened in and the two of em god into a gunfight. The interaction was so insane in this game.
Average day in the US.
people need to appreciate cyberpunk more xD
CDPR is such a treasure next to Larian. God bless those people.
If this was like Starfield, the NPC's would all just stand around staring at you and say things like "Night City has many things to offer!" and "I'm just trying to make my way" when you get near them and BGS fanboys would pass that off as good dialogue.
Ehh... Have you actually tried talking to Cyberpunk NPC's or seeeinng what they do? Cause I have a feeling you have not lol. This particular instance is scripted to always happen during this mission at this exact moment, making it more special. Cyberpunk is still great, but the NPC's are just as empty dead shells of people like in Starfield.
@@Znetsixe Of course I have. They tell you to piss off coz you're a random stranger in a city full of drug addicts and criminals so it makes sense. Also I've seen this conversation happen outside of this mission so not true. Random conversations happen like this constantly all over the place when you're not in any mission.
meanwhile starfield npcs are talking nonsense to a wall. I tried to think of something a starfield npc says, but i can't even think of something because it's so forgettable.
Remember, we're getting close to cyberpunk than Starfield. Well, more like the movie "Idiocracy" universe but sure.
