There is a live performance of Rock n Roll Fantasy where Skynyrd's Gary Rossington comes out and jams with them! It's fire!

Paul Rogers is one of the great British vocalist. He's been killing it for probably 50 years starting with the awesome band Free. I had a huge crush on him form the Free video singing "All Right Now" those tight white pants - hubbbahubba 💋

A good example from the 79 tour of how direct and soulful Paul Rodgers could deliver a song every time he stepped up to a microphone.
Still getting it done today. Just dropped a new record at age 74.

When he shows up at the door for that booty call...he says don't turn me away baby! Try "She's Gone", "Movie' On", "Crazy Circles" or "The Sky Is Burning"

I was fortunate to have met Mr. Peter Grant (the manager of Led Zeppelin) many years ago, and contrary to popular belief, he was a true gentleman. He had many great stories about Led Zeppelin (he was paid as an equal member of the band, where the 5 of them split ownership 20% each). He also talked about signing Bad Company to Swan Song Records (Led Zeppelin's record label). After unprecedented success on Atlantic Records, Led Zeppelin started their own record company (Swan Song Records). Led Zeppelin were practicing for an upcoming North American tour in a room within a warehouse in England that rented practice space to many bands. Peter left the room while Zeppelin were practicing to get a cup of coffee up the hallway. While walking up the hallway to get his coffee, he passed an open doorway of another band in a room practicing, but their door was ajar. He stood there listening to the song, because the music coming from within the room was amazing. He waited until the song was finished, then walked into the room and was surprised to see that it was Paul Rogers singing with a band. Peter knew Paul from his days as the lead singer of the band Free. Peter said hello and asked Paul what this new band was called. Paul replied they were called "Bad Company". Peter asked what the name of the song was that he was listening to in the hallway outside the door. Paul replied the song was called "Can't Get Enough". Peter asked if the band was signed to a contract. When Paul said no, Peter immediately offered them a recording contract on Led Zeppelin's new record label "Swan Song Records". Bad Company then became the first band (and the 2nd musical act overall...the 1st being Maggie Bell) signed to Swan Song Records. It wasn't until the record was recorded and pressed that Peter found out that Paul wasn't being completely honest about the recording contract. It turned out that Paul was indeed signed to a personal recording contract. Peter had to work out a deal with the owner of the contract to release Paul, and the owner finally agreed with the stipulation that he would receive 2% of all of Bad Companies future royalties. Once that deal was completed, the first Bad Company album was released. Peter had many great stories, not only of Led Zeppelin, but Bad Company, The Yardbirds, Chuck Berry and many other artists that he had worked with. May he Rest in Peace.
    Peace
PS. Still looking forward to your review of the Led Zeppelin CODA album. Again, please do the later version of the album that includes the songs "Hey Hey What Can I Do" and "Traveling Riverside Blues".
    Peace

Banger song from a banger album that happens to be a banger band. Bad Co. was my go to band as a teenager Paul Rogers on vocals was & still is one of the better, Mick Ralphs lead guitar, Boz Burrell bass and Simon Kirk on drums. I learned half of their catalog on drums as a knucklehead teenage drummer. Played this song last week. Hahaha 😝

Was not surprised to see Paul Rodgers playing guitar, only to see him taking this much of the lead.
Thought Mick Ralphs(who I think left Mott the Hoople to form Bad Company with Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke late of Free, following Paul Kossoff's death, and bassist Boz Burrell, fresh from King Crimson) would be shouldering lead duties, likely (again, I'd assumed)on a Les Paul, instead of sharing the dual leads on Strats. I know, gearhead. Guitarist, shoot me. 😂😊❤

Damn, where did you find that clip Biz? First time ever since Free had I seen Paul Rogers with a guitar and he's really good on it man. Fantastic! Speaking of the band Free, can you dig up some live performances of Paul and Free starting with Woodstock/ That would be awesome for your catalog. Paul has such raw powerful vocals especially in the band Free. The were more bluesy than Bad Company was. Dig
