Always enjoy the content of your videos. Love the experiences you and your brother share. Always enjoy the passion you show for fishing. What I like the most is the variety you provide fly fishing for the various trout species you fish for.
I always tell myself after a hard day or a bad day of fishing, if I get back home without braking one of my fly rods, it’s been a great day. Thanks, great fishing!!
I always have my "truck" rod as a backup. It's always with me, cheap, and works in a pinch. I drove 1.5 hours to the trail head to have the revelation that I left my good reel (the one that was supposed to have been put in the pack for the hike in) at home. The truck rod came to the rescue and ironically I had my best day on that water. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
I always love watching the Hardman boy's adventures! Great content! I was excited to see you again using your T&T. I just got mine a week ago & got to fish it one outing so far. My first fish on it was a 17" rainbow, it was an awesome fight. I'm sorry to see your's broke so easily. I would love to know how the company handles the repair/relacement for you. Maybe do a video on that. The T&T's aren't cheap rods & are supposed to be top shelf quality, hope all goes well for you. Great catches in this video too!
I've just got back from a brilliant early morning river session, I caught 5 or 6 wild brown trout all around the 1.8lb mark and got a sea trout beautiful bar of silver, it fought totally different to the brown trout jumping up the river instead of trying to put its head down in the current. Brilliant fun all just bouncing a worm 🪱 with a couple of split shot down stream.
That was some good fishing. Sorry your pole broke, and I'm glad you had backup. Those were some nice fish, especially that one big brookie. And yep, it looked wintery, but we know it's supposed to be summer. Is it warm out there now?
try that same stream with a 3 weight, it might be easier on the trout because you're not jolting them so much when you set the hook, and you'll have more fun because the rod can do some bending.
I have a question for you. I have always casted against the current and not with it because I have been told that you will spook the fish looking up. In this video, it looks like you were casting into the pool from the rocks. Do you always cast this way? Do you cast from a further distance and let the fly drift towards the fish?
It sounds great in theory, and we've fished with viewers before, but its tough to actually do that in most circumstances. We'd basically have to guide which would be tough
A most gorgeous video in a overcast quiet day. A most beautiful scenery. A fishing day of a dream. I enjoyed this video a lot.

Sick Andrew!! Shame about that T&T!!

Both of those rods were actually 3 wt rods... so maybe I should've used a 0 wt LOL
Great content man! When you say jig streamer, what are you fishing?
do you tie your own flies? what streamer is that?
