Zippidy doo duh...😂 WTH! Chattering little devil. Sure does have authoritieee. No, I can build one if I want but I don't wanna. I'm building a new version of the SR-71. MUHAHA
I never thought of launching it from the ground? Is that a school? Are you supposed to be 300 ft away from there?😂😂😂😂. I Have the UMX version😅? I used to have a blast with it. The most fun you can have on 1S ever! It was really a stepping stone over to the profile plane. Just incredible how quickly your hand eye coordination jumps! I did a modification to that aircraft in that I removed both stock cans and replaced them with cans that have bearings in them. They did a little planned obsolescence at Horizon and put cramping motor cans in it. That's a very nice green space you have there!🎉🎉🎉. I took this thing on the road with a thought of flying it but I never did. I don't know why it didn't suit the road? I like that site your own. Also like a bigger version of that aircraft. It's interesting to watch your healing evolution. You actually sound better. It's obvious that you have more energy by about 100%! Congratulations! To say I hate a JST connector is an understatement. I have one or two planes that are still on it. Otherwise everything gets moved over to the XT versions. The tiny XT 30 is amazing! I've never plugged one in backwards. I have definitely plugged in a JST backwards. Miserable. That's actually a very great air frame being bigger! You're right that airframe much like a profile plane enhances your hand eye coordination by an exponent of 10! See ya!🎉
I have been resistant to the XT stuff. But there's a fresh bag of XT-30 leads on my workbench now. I put one on the UMX F-86. I just don't like soldering battery leads. The 4S 450 for the F-86 came with XT-30, so it made sense. I've reverse plugged an EC3, but not a JST. So far. JST still populate the majority of my UMX fleet. Also on my other twin 30 UMX EDFs (Citation, Warthog, 262). Curious to see if all the soothsayers are right about the 262 being too much for the JST. My all time favorite single cell creature is the UMX Twin Otter. Simply awesome in every way, and the only model in my hangar with a virgin spare. Never felt better sir! Glad to know it's showing. My phone has a bunch of health apps that are telling me amazing things too. It's a measurable phenomenon. Getting the house in order is helping a lot. My Feng Shui has been in the crapper. Solo living advantage: When there's only one person in the house and something is not put away, even the dog knows whose job it is to put it away. More than that, the ergonomics have changed. Kitchen stuff was stored willy-nilly. Now, the stuff I use most is closest at hand and arranged logically. I can live the sloth life. But it's not me, and it isn't healthy.
@RARenfield Nor do I. I think the thing for me to do is to stop being lazy and put the right tip on the soldering iron so it's not overheat the battery. And if it's not soldering pretty to take the heat off that lead. I caused the only fire I ever enjoyed by overheating those leads that connect the battery.
@@twooldcampersandadog8169 Exactly. You undo an internal solder joint by overheating and you'd better have a jar of sand on hand. True story. At Apple a runaway lipo fire from a product being serviced in the Genius Room is called a "thermal event." 🤣 There's a big jar of white sand at each workstation. Dead quiet, effective, quick and clean. I wouldn't work on a lipo any other way.
