Going into a stage w/ a mental checklist should be the SOP. It’s almost like being on auto pilot. The hardest part is done. Now it’s time to acquire targets & apply the fundamentals & let the good things happen. *Make adjustments as necessary.
Absolutely! I tell new shooters two things to begin with: First, GO SLOW and get hits...You'll feel better with a couple of impacts and timing out than you will beating the clock but hitting nothing; and second, find your process and practice it every day, so when it's your turn to shoot, that part is automatic. Thanks for watching my friend!
Was good to meet you at the range today , Ive seen some of your vids but none at CCC and never knew you lived local , let alone we shoot and participate in matches at the same venue ...Aldo
I'm definitely not questioning you, but the last part about the feeding issue, I'm not sure I understand what would have caused it, or what you are countering with your slight push of the cartridge? You mention the barricade stop, is it the bag/stop pushing the mag that's the issue?
Hi hinkra! Yes, I "start" the round about 1/8" so it's already released from the back of the magazine, which provides a smoother loading of the round, even if I get in a hurry operating the bolt. Thanks for watching my friend!
Wish I would have watched this before my first few matches. Great info.
Thanks Nate!
Very good info.
I have only shot a few NRL22 matches thus far so this is quite helpful for me. Can't wait to get enough confidence to try a PRS match.
Thanks CJ and hope your journey is going well in NRL! Thanks for watching my friend!

Another informative video. Where I am at, we’re not allowed to game and set parallax with early sight picture. Keep up the great work.
Thanks LaRon and thanks for watching my friend!
Good stuff! It's usually the little things that trip me up on a stage. "Pre-stage checklist" is half the battle.
Hi GMG! Yeah, I had to force myself to get into that rhythm or my mind goes "Squirrel!!" just before the stage. Thanks for watching my friend!

Great meeting you Aldo and thanks for watching the channel. I'll look you up in December at the Tx Precision match if you're going to shoot it.
