I'm sad Elfyn lost it, but I'm happy to see him smiling as he went to congratulate Martin and Thierry. Gotta say they deserved it a tiny bit more, as they were running in front of him and yet managed to be faster. But Elfyn knows he's shown what he's capable of and seems to have really enjoyed the fight. Glad to see him have a good result again. Also, it's great to see the drivers and co drivers being friendly with eachother outside of the car.
Telegraph pole = powerlines in some vernaculars. It's just a regional differentiation of language but they mean the same thing. In Adelaide and South Australia we call them Stobey Poles because of their unique design.
There was a couple of bad crashes. But I am glad no one got hurt. Great sportsmanship between the drivers. And teams. I will watch the relives on WRC Plus. Because I was watching the Weathertech 12 hours of Sebring. What effects in Rallying. Effects in Sports Car Racing too. And the WRC is Part of the Sports Car Racing Family.
Thankfully Lappi is ok after this severe exit. So we can say that Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity and a Finn deprived it of the inhabitants of this village in Mexico.
In addition: It was a long time ago since we had witnessed such a battle for a place until the last stage. Well done Thierry and Elfyn for this magnificent fight.

i like how most of the action comes from the cars themselves. drivers need to be aware of the weight balance and position of the momentum within the vehicle under movement.
It’s a rally…where else is the action going to come from? Also, I’m pretty sure these drivers - some of the best in the world - are quite aware of the balance and feeling of their cars.
