Wow! The overtone (I think that's what it is called) on the high note had a whistle, amazing! I love how some peoples voice is polyphonic, it basically harmonizes with itself! Jordan has a phenomenal voice, it's retro yet modern! Such a classic guy!
This is not rasp, it is evident strain. You can tell this by his throat, his neck veins which are poping and many other evident signs of straining. Don't be a delusional fan. His attempt of this note is really unhealthy because he's pushing his falsetto way too hard (plus he has 0 support and real resonance, only volume).
Deyann Crété Why do you say this? are you a vocal coach? ..veins popping isn't evidence of straining, if you observe any singer that's belting you'll see veins, it's normal. Just look at some videos of Brendon Urie of Panic at the Disco belting high notes his veins also pop out including in a video were he impersonates the AC-DC voice on the song "shook me all night long" Both Brendon Urie & this guy are belting these high notes most lieely using what I call mixed/head voice. Falsetto doesn't have the support nor is it connected to the rest of his voice. How many people you know that can belt a D6 in full supported connected quality voice & with vibrato? it's not very common. Look at a song called "the end of all things" live version. if it's connected and you don't here any break and it's a full supported sound then it's not exactly falsetto, at least from what I'm informed..
Deyann Crété --This isn't falsetto and it IS supporteed. You can tell because it's connected to the rest of his chest voice. He's basically belting that note & that's not very common to do. So you think axl rose is straining? Steven tyler? These are people that BELT their high notes. Not unsupported falsetto. You can tell because there are no breaks. it's part of the Same voice
I'm sorry but he sounds like a dying cat when he does those high notes....! Sorry it's the truth I was like omg he must be incredible but then I heard it I was like... Oh dear.

He strains so hard...
Deyann Crété i
t's called adding rasp. & he does do this purposely..

Btw his technique REALLY sucks, he needs a vocal coach quickly if he doesn't want to totally loose his voice.
