One obvious easter egg I'm surprised you guys didn't point out is the very clear parallel of Rick 1st being picked up by the helicopter after the escape attempt and Michonne being picked up; how both scenes are shot exactly the same way and both Rick & Michonne are looking up at the helicopter with an almost identical smile on their face before it fades to white

Then she tries to say when during and after being beaten up by the trash person sniper. Then Judith said it was a secret cod word she was always scared to say. Then everyone says it to end the show.

Facts
Purple, a rare color in nature/difficult expensive to dye (hence purple being the colour of royalty; once upon a time). Notice in Rick’s 1st dream sequence, Michonne is in a purple outfit/flares 2 divide walkers r purple; they declare The Queen is here 2 claim/slay/do what she do!!
In book/movie (1985) of ‘The Color Purple’, the protagonist (Celie) has considerable difficulties in her life. When she sees the colour purple in a field, she considers that God is using it 2 remind her that world contains beauty & is not all bad, despite her experiences.
The show is blowing my mind! It’s exceeding my expectations and is everything I have been wanting. Between TOWL, Dead City and Daryl Dixon, the Walking Dead is back in a HUGE way! And I too am really hoping Morgan reunites with Rick in this show too!
did anyone mention that in the opening credits the map that shows the CRM cities also shows the radioactive symbol over the area of Dallas, Texas. showing them aware of the bomb that went off there during the events of fear the walking dead?

Also in the next few images - under black light or something - Philadelphia becomes visible
So maybe another clue that Morgan will show up. I am hoping at least. I mean the book, the Bo staff and the credits map. Morgan always finds his way to Rick. They were together from the first episode. Plus he needs to ask Michonne again about his missing peanut bar 😂

Rick Grimes and Michonne are the epitomy of a power couple. Both are brave and noble and have good hearts. I hope they have a reunion with Judith and RJ.

I tried watching all the spinoffs and none of them caught my attention. I even canceled my AMC, .....until I saw this, Andrew and Danai together gave me goosebumps. Andrew Lincoln is such an amazing actor. Hope to see more of the group together again especially Judith
You may end up being lost if you haven't watched the others. I've already seen moments that make more sense when you've seen World Beyond

The pregnant woman was named Aiden and her boyfriend was Bailey. Not trying to be "that guy" but Nat said their names quite a few times And Michonne called them by their names as well.

I really hope they don’t burn it all down or have one of them die in only 6 episodes. Also, I dunno why they don’t implement whisperer masks more often. Perfect cover for moving about or escaping from places.

I didn't think Okafor would die so soon. They made it seem like he was gonna have a bigger role in the show. Lol
I love the irony that they both had to give up trying to get to each other to finally find each other. If Michonne had continued on she would have encountered the crm as she was, acting like an A, and if Rick hadnt given up he would have died or gotten his family targeted by the crm, but only in letting that go the world brought them together

I'm convinced Morgan, Daryle, Carol, and the rest of the Alexadria/Hilltop heroes (to include Neagan) will become part of The Ones Who Live mini-series. They have to if TWD is to wrap things up fully. Otherwise, the spin-offs will just continue (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
I personally think Jadis is going to side with Rick and help over throw the CRM. also I love the references to the Bible, I think it will play a huge roll in the spin off. Also the eyes in the screen that play every episode kinda look like Shane’s. Also love for Morgan to come back
Such a great episode - I don't think I've liked a bunch of new characters so much in such a short amount of time before in any of the TWD universe. The rollercoaster of emotions was insane
How about the nuclear symbol on the map in the opening credits. Shows the CRM is aware of the bomb that went off. And more connection to Morgan

A true sequel series with the full cast would actually be amazing if they could keep up the quality in the first 2 episodes of this series
Uh.... I don't think we need the full cast. Maybe a few added, one at a time per season. But only the core cast members: Morgan, Daryl (if he ever finds a ship) Carol, Maggie, Judith and RJ. Assuming that it lasts more than 1 or 2 years.

I watched the prince of Egypt right before this new episode, and i didnt even see the similarities 😅 but weird coincidence.
I have to admit that I was skeptical about this show because all the other spin offs weren't too great but so far these two episodes exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed them very much.
I saw Dead City today and it was GREAT. World Beyond was a nightmare because all the actors were amateurs. I'm watching all the spin-offs because I heard they're all connected to TWD.

What was the yellow gas (I think they said fluorine or chlorine) and why did the CRM randomly use it on the caravan? I thought they wanted "B's" to be part of the CRM and a random traveling caravan would definitely qualify as a bunch of "B's." Also, were Michonne and Nat basically recovering for a whole year in that store? No idea how they had/found enough oxygen for that length of time. I guess it's like the magic oxygen Madison used during the final season of the show that will not be named (because it was so bad!).

After the original show and all the spinoffs crapping the bed year after year, I'm finally enjoying an actual Walking Dead series! These past 2 episodes were so good, it almost reminded me of how good the original series was when it began. Let's hope that they're able to keep it consistently good. And you know that somehow Morgan is going to show up before the end of this season.
I'm still not sure whether Jadis is going to be an antagonist again, or could actually be working behind the scenes (maybe along with Okafor before he died) to infiltrate and take over the current CRM regime.
