Dutch Lesson 1: Most common words in Dutch by Bart de Pau.
Dutch language course "1000 most common words in Dutch" is developed by Bart de Pau. This video is Dutch lesson 1 in a series of 40 videos, with each 25 Dutch words.
The online Dutch course is aimed at beginners, who want to learn Dutch online fast and want to reach quickly a basic vocabulary, without spending too much time on grammar.
You learn dutch words and the english translation, and a picture. For learning pronunciation, each word is repeated twice.
Best way to study the course is:
1) watch this video 1 or 2 times
2) study the word list online Dutch lesson 1: www.learndutch....
3) do the test;
www.learndutch....
repeat it if you made mistakes
4) no mistakes in the test - then go to the next lesson

Hello I am an Indonesian national. As I've been told our national language bahasa Indonesia borrowed a great amount of Dutch words but unfortunately Dutch is not taught in our schools. I loved the word "mwoh". In my town, we make a similar sound when we don't like something. It's like "no way" "what are you saying", "noooo" or "bah". We're called the Formula 1 because our strange sounds looks like a supercar that leaves fast. It's like "eeeeaaaaahhhhhnnn" or your Dutch "mwoh", but more exaggerated. 😂😂😆I love you, Dutch people. 🇪🇸🇳🇱

The "G" is one of the hardest letters in the Dutch. It sounds like the word doggie, with a soft "G". Like "kgg". Or when your tv is about to go in it's standby mode (my tv does make that sound).
Another thing to know is how to say things properly. It takes some time, but you can try with this word: "Gorgonzola". With a soft G.
