You have presented a number of knots that require me to increase my tools to tie them. I am unsure where I will use this knot, but now I am off to tie it!
Hey! Well pins and a surface (cork board or other) will come in handy in many projects, especially if you are trying to figure out something complex. Also, several other projects on this channel use pins :). You will be able to get some use out of them! Mark
As long as people watch what you're doing, this is perfect. The only thing that was missing is that you didn't start with "over under" or "under over" until you were somewhere in the middle. It might have been helpful at the beginning for some. Nicely done, as always.
Thank you Tana for the comment. Omitting the overs and unders at the start was something I thought about before making the video. It was a choice that in my opinion simplifies the tying process. You should not look at tying the knot as a series of overs and unders, but as working with whole bights. It is a ton easier to remember it that way! It is tied similarly to tying a chain sinnet. Mark
Mmmmmm...But you say to go "through" the knot. People mostly listening probably want to know HOW to go through, from the top, or from the bottom. 99.999% of the time your videos require no sound at all, except for those of us who like to go to sleep listening to your voice. : )
All I am creating is an embarrassment of a knot. I followed every step perfectly and all I get is a jumbled-up knot. This is the third knot tutorial that I have failed over 10 times each
