The part where Superman has the dream where he has a happy life and Batman kills the Joker and turns himself in for the good of everyone was heart touching they shouldve ended this story like that.
I disagree in this version batman would have thrown away everything he was or stood for, while superman didn't sacrifice a damn thing. How self centered. That was just him running away from real life inside a dream. If anything superman should have hid louis and baby away In his fortress of solitude till she can give birth, and he if he could make a kryptonian pill shed have been the first one he'd give it to. His contentness caused this, not bruce. He knows louis is publically close to superman thus putting her in more danger. His choice do nothing, see what happens when people like the joker target louis and himself. Brainiac decision making here. Superman has met time travelers like booster gold who could go back into the ast ad undo the event.

I don't think Superman himself was the true villain. The evil and chaos of the world that gave rise to suffering and criminals like Joker was what he was trying to fight. However, he was so overcome by grief, anger and his devotion as a "protector" that he chose to lead by strength rather than example, gradually compromising on the very things he stood for. With an upbringing of deep love and traditional values, all Clark wanted was to help others, make a difference, find purpose with his power. However, when faced with the reality that there will always be evil in the world, his previously innocent and somewhat naive view of life collapsed. He felt like his efforts were meaningless, that his God-like existence was a cruel joke. He developed such black and white ideals of good and bad, thereby struggling with the fact that human nature involves both. Evil is not a disease that can be cured, nor a parasite that can be expelled. It can only be protected against by the will to overcome it within oneself. In the end, what actually defeated Superman was the harsh truth that nothing can control the human spirit. As long as that existed, there would always be those who stood against his reign, because they would rather die for freedom than live without it. Batman had faith deep down that defending people while letting them make their own choices would eventually lead most of them to be better even without him. He fought crime as the "Dark Knight" not to force peace but create opportunities for it. That was what he admired most about Superman. Even with God-like power, he shared Batman's belief in humanity's potential to grow on its own as long as villains weren't oppressing it. The Justice League were extensions of this philosophy, acting as pro-conventional thinkers but not dictators. The moment Superman dishonored that by turning the JL into an army willing to kill all those who disagreed with them, he forsook the trust Earth had in him as well as his friendship with Batman. Injustice presents one of the most tragic, yet impacting examples of superheroes in a realistic society and how the evils they face can taint them. It also shows how even those with the best intentions can fall to the temptation of their own impulses.

Joey GREAT job on this one. Not only am I loving the story, and the way you guys put sound effects in but you hardly made any mistakes at all. The pacing was good and there were a few things, technically really the same mistake just used multiple times. You say things like faces when it should be face or gos when it should be go but on the whole this was a really good read by you. 😊

It's amazing how interesting this comic book became, even when you think the game was released a long time ago and all the hype from it is gone, this story is completely standing on it's own

The only thing I really didn't like about year three was how easy the phantom stranger was killed he's a pretty damn powerful charater
