Regardless of how Shroud feels about CS2, I still love to see his undying positivity and enjoyment of people playing CS well in pubs. He always says NT, literally never comments on his teammates plays regardless of how awful they might be, and even loves when his opponent kills or challenges him with good aim. Definition of the playing for fun mentality while being insane at the game.
Yeah, he’s the exact opposite of Hiko, all he does now is complain about his teammates and cries about the game 24/7. He’s unbearable to watch at this point.

@@imfuzzyhearmeroar While I do agree Hiko at times can be a bit much, he is never comming toxic things to his teammates, almost always to just his stream. And a lot of people also do not realize that when he is playing valorant, he is playing with almost exclusively players in high radiant whom he knows semi personally from his years playing professionally in both CS and Valorant. Also, saying Hiko cries about the game 24/7 is a little unfair when in this same video shroud complains rightfully about some of the problems Hiko complains about. Personally, I like Hiko's blunt style of humor and most of the time it is obvious to me he is joking. If some people cannot see that, I understand completely, but most of the time it seems to me he is just joking
it's not like he hates the game, the guy's been living and breathing the game for over a decade, he's just critical because he knows how good the game can be at it's best

Ive been every rank between 6.8k and 22k. Closet cheaters who are beatable started popping up at 15k. The blatants started popping up near leaderboard elo around 22k. I’m now 21k because its impossible to win against spinbotters.

you need to look at the %rank that you are in next to the rating, as the numbers vary quite a bit region to region... % is the best tracker of where you are
he dosnt play it...he probably wins 500-600 elo and loses 50-100 elo per game...if he played it, he would surpass majority of people easy.

To be honest my 1k hours is de_dust comp only in CSGO; CS2 premiere forced me to learn other maps, and I love Anubis and Vertigo more than DustII lol.

Ever since I got a false vac ban I just got tired of the game. Being told there is “nothing you can do” to get unbanned and that my account security is my responsibility only to be unbanned a day or so later by the same people who said that just shows how stupid and stuck up their banning system is. The game is fun but that was just bullshit.

As a player that transitioned from Valo to CS2 i got to say CS is so much fun cause it's way harder mechanically but there are so many little things that makes it so annoying and frustrating to play. For example the queue timers or the fact that you can't find a player giving info or the fact that everyone just rages and leaves. It happens in Valo as well ofc but it's just so much more frequent in this game. I just hope when you get to a higher ElO these things get better. I'm 10.000 rated

I’m playing at 20k in premier and I will say this, the quality and quantity of players since the CSGO days 2-3 years ago has taken quite a hit since release. It’s sad to see :(

Ive been playing CS since the golden days of 1.6 and stuck pretty much through all of the games, this however.. yeah idk if im able to stick through this too, it just doesnt f e e l like CS to me anymore, especially with the little support for community servers, the reason i LOVED 1.6 and Source was the fact that there was so much community created gamemodes if you ever got tired of the bread and butter you could just experiment, hop on stuff like zombie escape, paintball, deathrun etc etc. Now it feels like most servers are dead in this game

20k here also, soon as i hit 20k, valve matches me with more hackers. Look at their CSGO stats vs CS2 stats and its seem VAC took a downgrade hit or maybe AI isnt smart enough yet? (suspected hacker would have 0.70 KDR over CSGO time and now at 3.5KDR with CS2) Shits worst than CSGO MM. Back to faceit i went.

I queue both premier and comp it takes around 30 seconds max (eu)

CS is still having record player counts. It definetly not dead currently. It is a fun game however I think they would have More players if they made casual more noob friendly
cs2 has major problems at the moment. Main issue is its not device friendly or flexible at all compared to the og csgo/ csgo1. Game has bugs and lags a lot

I got assigned to 12000 with 50% winrate (10 losses 10 wins) and it might've been different a week ago but right now I'm having quite a lot of fun around that rating lots of close games where noone is stupidly carrying their team I even had a draw which is a bit annoying but surely that means its pretty balanced for me

@@toruno7710 it's f2p game unless you get prime. It's in their interest to get as many people to buy crates and pay to open them. Clamping down on hackers would hit this big time. You think alot of the stuff sold is from legit accounts? I'd say alot are from farm accounts etc.
They will only act when they see their revenue drop because the overall player base has had enough or protest by not buying/opening boxes.
The only proof you need is why other games have v little cheating, yet CS is still rampant with it. Yes their overall numbers aren't as much as Cs, but I'd bet the ratio of hackers to total players is way lower than CS.

i dont think its that CS2 is "dying" i think rather people want to play more than 1 game and consistently will take month breaks so when they come back its fresh. I love CS2 but my friends have been playing other games so I havent been on CS2. When we do play CS2 though it is such a fun time and we all laugh and enjoy it. I would love to play CS2 tonight but if my friends are all on different games i am not gonna solo queue a FPS when i could play with friends on a different game. Gaming feels more like a social event now rather than a solo queue fest like it used to. That might just be growing up but that how it feels now.
Shroud is 15k elo in CS2 after decades of FPS experience. I am solo queue 15k elo after never having played csgo and first playing CS2 two months ago. I am by no means bragging, I am so absurdly outranked to my capabilities as a player, it makes no sense. I am a silver elite player at best atm.

I uninstalled the game like 3 weeks ago, I don't miss it too much not gonna lie. Especially because I installed it again yesterday to play with my friend and both of our games froze and we had to restart twice, second time I restarted it didn't allow me to rejoin the match and a minute later my friend's game froze 2nd time for him and that was it I uninstalled the game right away just as I installed it 🤣

For a new game coming out thats fine, but cs2 currently has less players than csgo did just before the announcement. While you would've expected such a big update to get more players into the game, not lose existing players

@@twanheijkoop6753one more reason of losing playerbase besides hackers and other things might be game becoming more cpu and gpu demanding, csgo used to run just fine on average build but they made cs2 graphics heavy. I don't know if that counts.
@@vineetkumarverma2970definitely is a factor for sure, CSGO being so easy to run was what made it accessible for so many people. When I first got into source I was able to run that shit on my crappy laptop and same with CSGO until I finally could afford a good upgrade. I’m glad I can still run cs2 well but it sucks for the people who just can’t play anymore because they simply can’t run it:/
