Hyena scavenging on an Impala carcass stolen from Wild Dogs fresh after the hunt Kruger Park

Spotted Hyena are doing what they do best stealing kills from other predators although they can hunt very successfully on their own they often revise to scavacing as they have the skills and the number to pull it off successfully most of the time. This sighting took place on the S83 road Marula Loop 21st Aug 2024
