That some crazy number they are pushing.
Still waiting for some sub 10k, compact laser for my workshop, maybe 2kW to cut some hobby parts. Think it’s getting there.

I feel guilty about being a tire kicker. I've messaged you a few times about a tube laser, and it just wasn't in the budget at the time 😢.
Side note, I'm surprised more people's aren't watching your videos

haha, its not personal to any single person... but there is just an overwhelming number of people that "May" buy a machine the future, but yet at this very moment want to do onsite demo's, ask a million questions, and will absolutely wear me out with back and forth back and forth for days and weeks. I just do not do that. I save up money for what I watn to buy, and when I am ready, I research, find a good company, get a price, ask 2-3 question and buy it, so the logic of all the back and forth from people that have no chance of buying a machine, its just hard for me to understand.

i work for a manufacturer that makes cnc machines with laser applications (as a service engeneer) and i know from experience that these chinese brands they work fine for 1-3 year if u are lucky and then the lens blows up

oh really ? lol thats it huh? 1-2 years? Lens blows up? These machines have upper and lower protective lens that are consumables, $10-$15 each, and they get replaced weekly. And yes, machines like this, you can expect 2-5 years out of a head, just replace the head - $2K-$15K depending on which model machine you have. But in 2-5 years, these guys running these machines will be multi millionaires and you will still be workign a desk job for $80K a year

Yes I am with you on those Chinese machines . I bought a 3 kw laser from Gary and I lost so much money that I bought a 12 kw 2 years later. My sales have increased by 600% and this is before I purchased the 12 kw laser. I expect a 1000% increase this year and the only reason I haven't purchased another laser is because I don't have enough room in the shop. We are currently saving up for a new building which I will pay cash for. I did have an issue with the head on my 3kw , I burned the head out cutting copper. I had it repaired in China for $1800 but bought a new head from Gary for $12000 (in stock). So I was down 2 days and now I have a spare head. I have bought 2 lasers , one press brake and one time saver plate sander from Gary. All sarcasm aside , I can't pay 1.2 million for a semi US made laser cutter and make the payments . I can buy 8-10 Chinese lasers for the price of one (Red) semi US laser with Chinese parts. Gary Ramsey has done me a service by providing me with machine tools that I can make money and employ people. You have to ask yourself why the US can't supply us with affordable machine tools and why they are not made in the US anymore.

We are a european company and have also a chinese laser (bodor). We use the machine only for our own work and the machine runs here everyday for the last two passed years. We couldn'd afford a machine from a A-brand manufacturer. The machine is doing well right now. I also preferred to buy a european/western machine, but these are not affordable for a small company as ours. I realy don't understand why we can't buy such a machine build in europe, even if they raise the price of the machine with 50% (for the more expensive work hours here) I would buy one, but you can't. The cheapest european machine (that also uses a chinese lasersource) was double the price of my bodor for the same specs. Also the support from China is good. Within a hour you've got a tecnician on the line to give you technical support. A lot of European/American company's can learn a lot from these chinese brands. @@garyfiler5768
