CASC 8th Institute Achieves Milestone with Successful VTVL Flight Test

On the afternoon of June 23, China successfully completed the first 10 km-level vertical take-off and landing flight test of a reusable launch vehicle at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This test is the largest-scale vertical take-off and landing flight test of reusable launch vehicles in the country so far, laying a solid technical foundation for the first flight of a 4-meter-level reusable launch vehicle in 2025 as scheduled.
