The whole band is actually VERY talented, Emily Haines is awesome, but you gotta love this fat guitar sound, this hard drumming style and this useful bass guitar.
For sure. I saw them during the synthetica tour and I had never heard them before. I starting dating a girl who loved the band, so I bought us tickets to the show in Detroit at the Fillmore and it knocked my socks off so much that I saw them two more times after that.
Oh my god. I just got into them, only been listening through the studio versions of the songs. They're great, love their music, but my gaaaaawd, she's sexy. And I'm not into blonds. I know, I should be posting about the music. But I just thought I'd mention XD
@Syvelocin I was totally just thinking that. That haunting deep dark seductive voice. I was also thinking how cool it would be if Garbage got back together and toured with Metric. OMFG!
Im seein them in september live at Sonic Boom on sept. 4th you should get some tickes or listen to sonic to win them eather way its going to be awesome!!!
Truthfully, she only looks good when she's with metric. You should see her solo in concert. She usually looks like hell. I think the guys in the band dress her :)
Godamn, guitarist is one of the sickest riff makers I've seen in recent history.
agreed. He doesn't get enough respect
@@andrefelixdiaz He really needs to be more well known but then again I think he likes his current level of notoriety
They're spectacular. I was 10 feet from Emily and the stage. SO worth it.
I was probably 5 feet behind you :D
Emily Fuckng RULES!! LONG LIVE TO METRIC!!!

The armony of "Glass Ceiling" here sounds AMAZING.
Metric is so amazing live.

MUSTMUSTMUST see them live. It's my mission.
I love this band, and this concert was so well filmed. adds to the feel. no- compliments the feel.
So does Metric! Maybe they should tour together!

Used to watch this DVD every friday night in my late teens
this performance is crazy, its great :)

She reminds me of Shirley Manson from Garbage. I think it's the performance aesthetic. But she does.
This looks like a pretty hot show...
I'm seeing them in October...Massey Hall Toronto!
Oh my god.

Garbage IS back, and their new album (bonus tracks included) rocks, just as Metric's!
It's probably About A Girl you're thinking of, and it's slower Tempo, not pitch.
Anybody knows what distortion pedal he's using ? I guess a Proco Rat could do the work, but i'd really wanna know :)
where are that tabs for that guitar riff!
Hans sorry, not vans
