You did good n being careful with the hot water that's good. Cuz I got burned on my neck before with the hot water they doing my hair with the braids dipping my braids in the hot water. Love how u being careful and taking your time doing good job. Love the look. Love the video

I can't use gel or jam r anything of the sort in my head can I beeswax be used or it won't work?

What do you mean by "twisting it the opposite way' please ??
Regular twist , with Marley hair is twist right to left . This hair I twist it left to right to give it more of a spongier look instead of a tight twist look

You must be pulling hard for the model to keep holding her head.
I tell all my clients to hold on the their twist after Im few inches down. Especially on the edge. Not necessarily because it hurt but sometimes it twist at the roots which can cause it to be tighter and more tension
If she was listening closely to the video she would have heard you when you tell her to hold the Platt so it won't twist the root area while you're twisting
