Have fun reading! For September I'm reading The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman, Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer, The Sword of Kaigen by ML Wang, and maybe more after those. Maybe something by Alison Weir who I've never read before.

Would you recommend Alice Hoffman? I've heard of her, basically because of the Practical Magic movie. Also, The Sword of Kaigen intimidates me, lol. I'm just starting to get into fantasy. I think I'm going to start with Robin Hobb, but I'd eventually like to read The Sword Of Kaigen. Allison Weir is a really good author, though I've never finished one of her books. I have started Katherine Of Aragon, but I had to bring it back to the library before I finished it and haven't checked it out again. I definitely want to read her Tudor Queens series, though. :)

@@readknitwithcheryl I'm really excited to read Alison Weir, let me know if you have any to recommend I start with. Honestly AH is okay. I give her 3-4 stars. The movie is definitely better. My favorite is the first book "Magic Lessons" so I'd recommend that one first. I totally get what you mean abotu fantasy, they're so long! I picked SoK because it's not a series and I'm trying to finish all the books I own (5 books).

Please read Shakespeare was a Woman. I'm a total nerd, I love nonfiction and feminist work. They all look good tbh. Btw I sent you a friend request on Goodreads - my name is LW.

Hi! Sure, I'll go to goodreads right now and accept you as a new bookish friend! I'm really looking forward to reading Shakespeare Was A Woman. I think I might read it this month even if it doesn't get voted, lol.
