Holy enabling Batman!! 🤩 You've done it again Helen. My wish list gets longer every time I watch your videos. Your work is lovely and I get so many ideas from you!! Your Goodwill find is a real treasure. It's nice to know that so many people have now admired it because you shared it with us.
I love seeing your finished pieces! The first framed piece!! That fox!!!! Oh, my! They were all beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to share them up close! Blessings!
What an awesome Goodwill find!!! I really fear that all my things will end up there as well. Hope a cross stitch lover finds them and re-homes them! Your wintwr stitches are gorgeous!!
Helen, your stitching is absolutely exquisite! There’s no better word! And please keep your tutorials coming. I have learned so much from them! Thank you for the inspiration! I’m always disappointed when your videos end!
Always fun to see these unboxing videos Helen, thank you. You have some great winter pieces, and that Charlie Harper one from the Goodwill is amazing. How fortunate for that piece to have been found and brought to a good home! :)
It always breaks my heart when someone's beautiful work is just dumped at Goodwill. I am glad Bird Bath found a home with you. You have some great winter pieces. Thanks, Helen.
I love it when you do an unboxing! Love every one of your winter pieces! I need to stitch more winter things! I have a lot of snowmen that I put out each January but don’t have just winter pieces! Happy stitching!
Love your Frosty Forest. The border is so cute and looks great with the frame. Hope I can remember that when I get around to stitching mine. All your Winter stitching is gorgeous!
Thanks for sharing your winter finishes. Now that I live in Florida - I just go right to Valentine’s Day decor. I don’t miss the snow but I do miss the snow related cozy decorating.
I wish I could walk into Goodwill and find a piece like that cardinal birdbath for a $1. It is gorgeous. Cardinals are my favorite bird, and I am drooling over yours. I did find 3 Leisure Arts hardcover series books at Goodwill just before Christmas. They were $1.50 each but if it was a Christmas related item that day, they were half off, so I got them for 75 cents each. Thanks for doing the winter parade of finishes.
Love all your winter stitches and what an awesome good will rescue you found, happy stitching on some new winter pieces, hope you will show us your recent picks to start stitching to beef up your winter theme items.
We don’t have anything great at our Goodwill. You’ve found a gem!’ I need to start my CC Fox and I’m going to leave the house/hut out like you did-I like it way better with more trees. Great idea Helen
Enjoyed watching! You have some very beautiful stitching projects!! Winter is not my favorite season, but your stitching projects are awesome!! Makes me want to stitch some winters! ❤ 😊
I love your videos, your projects, and finishes. You are so talented in so many ways stitcher, finisher, designer. I wish we lived closer. My husband and I love Maine, I have been there 13 times. Looking forward to your next Flosstube. Happy stitching 🪡🧵
Love your strawberries. You are always good with those. I know i need to get into high gear, i have alot of finishes that need FFO'd. I too have found some great cross stitch gems at goodwill. I always adopt them and bring them home to my wall. Great job Helen.
Thank you for all the great ideas! I love to stitch, and I have a certain design style I like. But it’s always great to see other designers to try! Always looking for inspiration even though I have four wips going right now. And a bunch of charts I haven’t touched yet. lol
Hi Helen, I just love that Birdbath that you rescued from Goodwill! I too have rescued many projects from the heap of throw away or thrifted finds! Thank you for rescuing it!
Hi Helen! I loved your winter finishes and smalls . The fox is a favourite, but I love the little strawberries, especially the last blue and white one! You have given me lots of finishing ideas using boards with magnets, etc. thanks for sharing and I will look fwd to your next video! 👏🏻🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
Thank you for sharing! I love the first big piece you showed! Lovely! I purchased the chalkboard snow pattern from Hershners in the summer, and hope to stitch it….at some point! 😜🤪
Every time I see that series that you stitched on blue that you changed the center block on I think I really have to stitch it on blue because I have almost all the charts….and I never do. This year I have to start it! Hold me to it. Lol.
Your framed pieces are wonderful; especially love the elegant fox. What an incredible find with the bird bath piece. All the smalls are so colorful and fun. Beautiful collection to display.
Thank you for showing your winter pieces. I was reading the current issue of Just Cross Stitch magazine (through my library Libby app) and saw the QR code link to your project bag making video. I hope it leads to more subscribers for you!
Hi there I can’t believe that you can find all the winter themed cross stitch patterns. You inspire me I love your videos and how you find things that apply to winter . I would love to do a winter piece any suggestions? Something small. I love this the fox piece . 123 stitch carries a lot of cottage gardens designs there perfection.
I found the book! Ever since you showed the Evergreen Sampler the first time I have looked for it, and someone had it on the Destash group. I am so pumped to do the sampler.... some day :) Thanks for the inspiration!
A Winter Tiny Town would be great! We have 10 inches on the ground where I live which is unusual. My knees will not allow me to shovel my steep incline driveway so I called a service, but they won't be here until right around dark. Hopefully we can get it done and the ice melt on what remains so it won't be quite so bad in the morning (if I have to be at work). Lots of places have already called closures for tomorrow, and I guess I'm hoping our is at least delayed.
So many beautiful pieces! I love the evergreen sampler one. Winterful Friends by Silver Creek Samplers is one of my favorite winter smalls, if you're looking for suggestions. I love stitching winter on blue fabric as well, although to be honest I love blue fabric with just about everything. 😂
Loved seeing all of your finishes! I do like the idea of one board and magnets so you can change out the seasons. In the first finish, Forest you did, what stitch count was that, it is beautiful and on my list of to do projects. Stay warm, we are in a winter blast of -26 temps for several days now. BRRRR! Stephanie
Helen, would you be willing to share your conversion of winter wonderland? I love your conversion. I kitted this up last year and I did not like the called for colors at all…….this is the first conversion that I have seen that I love.
I can’t believe the beautiful cardinal picture wound up being $1. The matting and frame, I love everything about this one. And, l was going to listen real closely to where I could get the pattern.🥺
Love all the wonderful things you have made. I’m just starting out with cross stitch, here in Aus, and your collection is very inspiring to me. Which fabric count do you usually use, please? I’m still not sure if I can tackle really fine fabrics due to eyesight issues. Thanks for sharing.
I stitch on Aida and lugana, but prefer 14/28 or 16/32 counts. I personally find it hard to use a magnifier in addition to my glasses, so I don't use the higher count fabric. I say use whatever is comfortable for you and lets you enjoy your stitching! 😊
Beautiful finishes. I love your finish of Evergreen Forest. I have this all ready to stitch but haven’t picked a fabric color yet. Could you tell me what you stitched yours on if you know?
thank you for sharing - i have the fall chalk art and have been looking for the rest - I got Winter - where is Spring it says April 2016 cross stitch book - but I can't see that at Annie's? thanks for your help
