I have been trying to learn a little bit of the dabke as I do with other dances but I quickly figured out this is not your typical multiple of 8 count so 32 counts to make a phrase so it’s been harder to try and figure it out. Your video is very helpful, I feel a bit more in the know now, thank you very much 🥳. I teach a Dance Fitness class and I like taking people all around the world with different genres of music and dances and even languages. I am going to use your tutorial to add a dabke session to the class 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

I also have a question. There are different ways to dance dabke, so how do you know when to dance which? Also including musicality and stuff. Cuz like i see people dancing dabke and I wonder how they know when to perform the steps and do that big hop and pause
I just put Dabke videos in slow motion and practiced everyday and now I'm a pro and can balance on one leg it just takes practice

@@barakah08 I used Lebanese artists called Akram assaf and Walid Sarkis and I wrote Lebanese Dabke on RUclips and all the videos come up and if you put the playback speed in slow motion you can spot every move they do and there's different styles to Dabke depending on the beat there's Da2tain Mijwiz there's Dal3ouna and Dabke 3al minjayra and many more Da2tain Mijwiz is usually Mild and not too fast but Dal3ouna is usually quite fast and Minjayra is usually quite slow hope this helped you
