I don't do them because I don't think anything should be shooting me in a game of zombies. I don't like the fact that the mercs melt your armor almost instantly even when you have a 3 plate vest in tier 1. I also hate the fact that the convoy seems to follow me around all the time. I'll just be minding my own business trying to do a contract or even just farm xp just to have mercs roll up and start blasting me every game. Also the riot shield pisses me off enough in multiplayer I don't want to see ai running it in zombies also. Lastly I absolutely hate those "stealth" mercs who basically one shot you in strongholds or camps.
I kind of assumed many felt this way people play zombies to fight zombies. The riot shields are so OP is ridiculous and almost alone make it worth never doing anything that has them🤣
It's been more than a week since the reward for zombie missions dropped, I'm on red zone every day and the reward I get is not worth the effort and as the days go by people become more experienced in the game and the red zone gets crowded with players and no contracts.
Red zone doesnt get crowded because people are more experienced, it gets crowded because of the shitty tombstone glitch that almost every shitty youtuber made a video about and those absolute noobs players doing that glitc because they dont know how to actually play the game.
Him complaining about a little rubber banding. Me with 1500 ping falling through the map and appearing on the other side of the map. Side note I love going against mercs It adds a bit of spice to zombies.
I like the addition of the Mercs, it adds another element to zombies and makes it feel a little more real. (If Zombies were real you know ppl would still be fighting each other and killing each other.) The reason ppl don't like fighting the mercs is because they get owned. Yes, I have died to the mercs too, plenty of times, its frustrating. But I think if they took the Mercs out the game completely, it would be a little more boring.
Including me 😄.. I ignore that part of the game too! Though I appreciate their presence from a thematic standpoint, it makes the world feel more rich. But you're right, maybe increase the rewards? Or give different rewards?
Lastnight i was in a round of zombies and my connection just started glitching out and i was getting hit from zombies that were nowhere near me. And it ALWAYS seems to happen everytime i use my legendary tools and flawless crystals! Every single time and i only get like 20 minute match and it times out and i lose everything!
Merc contracts really are terrible. The only merc missions worth doing is strongholds and you don't get those as a contact so the only money you make is whatever is in the chests. I don't think anyone wants more warlords.
Not only merc contracts are annoying, but do your rarity and PaP level even matter when killing them at all? I honestly fight some of these mercs in T1 and T2 and they honestly take the same amount of damage, so that's another annoying. Another annoying thing is how they don't fill your field upgrades as much as zombie kills do, which especially makes some of the Act Missions feels tedious and annoying (Like seriously that one challenge where you have to do an aether shroud to kill mercs is so stupidly ridiculous).
Yeah I should have said this too but basically all the things you enjoy like upgrading your weapon with tools or pap but none of it works against mercs. PAP is good for the double mag size at least.
I like to keep the latency visible at all times to see just how bad it gets sometimes. Ive had some zombie games where my ping has spiked to almost 1000ms. Its baffling why it happens so much in zombies when i have very few connection problems in MP or WZ
This happens in zombies because of all the things a server has to register i.e., zombies, cargo choppers, players, storms, etc. A lot goes on for server stability. Also

I wanna say the hardest zombies contract would be an hvt mega bomb or disciple in the tier 3 zone. Still be more fun than merc contracts and that’s what it comes down to. The merc contracts just aren’t fun
enjoyed this because is my normal round. am fairly new at zombies and slow. i died on the contract at end of video you did last night. lost everything. one night literally screaming at map trying to find a contract other than these while zombies beat the crap out of me. ended up doing a merc camp. have only made it to PAP2 a couple times in Z2. have never made it to Z3. no cash. would be nice to get purple tools at least. i do a lot of ether nests
I don't do any of the contracts that make you stand there for 2 seconds if I can help it.. I just don't enjoy them. I much rather do hvt or raid stash contracts
I just finished the ‘clear 50 strongholds’ tonight. It took forever but I was wanting to get the calling card and finally finish the Soldiers of Misfortune challenges.

I am just trying to get sustainable enough to complete act 2. As for your "lag" check the map I bet you'll see most of your lobby grouping together whether worm gang or outside pay to achieve groups(schematics, camo grinding business that over whelm the lobby not to mention giving strangers access to your accounts)
Dude do you know how hard it is to go against all those mercs with a single plate? Really...... you're better off just finding one in a locker somewhere.....I think the lag is a result of other players... when players start leaving or quite, it usually goes away... it's a player or players lagging it for others... I'm pretty sure these are dedicated servers, but that's been my experience...last night a truck spawned on top of crates.. .I was able to get into it, but when I drove off the crates, I made it to the ground and started driving and the truck was teleported back to the top of the crates.. after the 5th time of the same thing, I just had to leave it... freaky man....
Yeah I actually don't have lag like this very often which is why I left it in kind of felt like it was more relatable as we all have frustrating times while gaming especially when we get lag.
In the beginning I was liking the content but out of nowhere every video has him complaining about something in the game…the players,contracts,bosses,loot tiers,mystic unicorns etc just pump out the content and have fun buddy it’s just season one it will get better and hopefully the commentary will too
Appreciate you legend. My goal is for them to be as relatable as possible which sometimes includes the frustrations of the experience. Not every match or every video will be a home run I also have to remind myself of that from time to time. I will do my best to keep my complaints valid which for this run sadly was an insane amount of lag that we powered through. I stopped doing mercenaries when i saw them glitched under map a few times especially in Tier 1 orlov military base area.

Mercs are humans, thus PaP, weapon rarity and tier zone don't affect them, like it would zombies.
