The host makes a great point about Mrs. Doubtfire, and how the movie changes as you are red pilled. I recently saw it again after many years, and I see exactly what the host means. Robin Williams played a dad who wanted to be there, he wanted to do everything for his kids. And Sally Field simply said no because SHE was unhappy. The kids didn't want him to leave either. But she kicked him out, left him with nothing, then proceeds to berate him because he's not providing enough?!?!?

Don't forget, the Robin Williams character was a grown up child at first. He arranged for barn animals to be in the house. He could not keep a job. Responsibility was anathema to him. It was only upon losing his children that he was forced to grow up to be a responsible guy- dressed as an old lady. If he was not responsible, his ex-wife would rightly have fired him. At the end, when he was exposed, he finally grew up. His ex-wife saw that, and allowed him to be with his children, unsupervised. It could be regarded as a coming of age movie. Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) grows up.

Thank you so much, Paul. I came across your channel a couple of years ago, after swallowing the bitter pill of a divorce and custody battle under modern western family law. Your videos provided me with much of the intellectual framework to be able to think of me and my life beyond the mental fences of the sacrificial mindset that I was raised into. I'm still walking my way through all of the deception, anger and depression related to the misconceptions that I had about intra- and intersexual dynamics of my beloved species, but it's getting easier with time passing. The nanny state has benefited nobody. Marriage should be a contract between two people with their own terms and dissolution terms. The problem is that the state should have no say on private contracts or property but it has no respect for any of those two issues, which arte the origin of all traditional legality.

Great to see you again, Paul. And props to Vasanth for making this a good discussion.
We are seeing the fall of the West literally on a daily basis, and you highlighted some of the reasons here in the discussion - the feminisation of men, falling sperm count, the biased court system which destroys men in divorce, and men waking up to the perils of getting married and thus checking out of risky relationships.
I have a formulated a model of why relationships are failing in the West. I wonder if you can give your views of this? Successful societies are founded on a well defined social dominance hierarchy. Traditionally this has been, rather faultily, but nonetheless successful, and in order: 1. god/religion, 2, government, 3. man, 4. woman, 5. child. Government relies on religion to be its social enforcer to keep society civil because it can't do it on its own and it can't trust people to be civil without intervention, which is not true but nevertheless what it believes. We know this because this is why governments support and fund churches of all religions, which is particularly noticeable right now in the UK as mosques are being funded straight out of the Budget. Now, marriage is a religious concept and is backed by law, and hence neatly ties and controls men and women's behaviour to the government. They enforce this further by offering tax breaks to married couples. And the stigma for ensuring the nuclear family is through marriage is by name-calling children born out of wedlock "illegitimate" or "b**tards". However, when marriages break down, men suffer the majority of the penalties. This thus hands over control of the relationship to the chief beneficiary - the woman. Thus in this case, the social dominance hierarchy is broken. Now, given that religion is failing, and is really a deception anyway and most people are waking up and becoming atheist in the West, and as you said, government don't like strong men who can make their own decisions independently, all that leaves in the dominance hierarchy is men over women. So when that is itself compromised, such as by laws, over which even strong men have to comply with, and by gynocenticism, and by a higher proportion of women getting degrees and having successful careers, there is an ever diminishing pool of competent men to maintain the hierarchy. But the final nail in the coffin is the social conditioning of men and women. Women are conditioned to set a standard for men to commit to a relationship, leading to marriage, this is an ultimatum. Men who comply are, by default, handing over the control of the relationship, which again inverts the hierarchy and can easily lead to destruction for the man. I remember Janice saying something along the lines of the woman will get the man to succumb to her will and she'll then grow to hate him for it and for being so weak, or words to that effect. So it really is incumbant on a good, strong-willed man to stand up to a woman and never get married. Commitment can be made in many ways besides marriage. If the woman loves the man enough, she'll stay regardless, as your very own relationship desmonstrates. Lastly, though, gynocentricism says that if a man does stand up to a woman, then he's a misogynist, and you have to withstand the social threat of cancellation as well.
Once you know how it works, you then know how to win it.
I find it funny how smug the Daily Wire people are when they are berating single people. Whilst they all happily married, they have no empathy for anyone else. I call this a "relationship empathy gap". It is particularly wide with people who are married and think they are beyond reproach. But as recent celebrities such as Stephen Crowder and Destiny have found out to their serious cost, they are not immune from the above social dominance hierarchy. It's hard to offer them any sympathy when they've spent years publically sh**ting on single people.
    Keep up the good work.

@@captnhuffy Obviously there is far more to the problem than marriage rates. But attitudes are noticeably different these days than ten years ago. Back then, feminists flooded comment sections shaming anyone who wasn't in lock step with their cult. These days, it is somewhat common to see comment sections with antifeminist attitudes as well as a working vocabulary of narcissistic abuse terms. I believe the two are directly related to each other. If it seems like nothing changes, it's because the real changes take time.

    • @captnhuffy

@@danielkaiser8971 Yes and no. Feminism, in just years, destroyed what took centuries to build. Women built the society, and men built the Civilization. Feminism undermined the society, and men started walking away almost immediately… What I’m saying is that destruction happens fast and; high quality change takes honorable people a long long time to progress. Women have proven that they don’t deserve good men. Until women reverse the systemic damages they have done, men will not return, and YES, that will take a long long time. Until then, men will kick back and enjoy the decline. My next phase in life will be exploring the Caribbean islands and the women there too, of course. Because western women don’t deserve my consideration because of their past behavior. Tough shift.

So many great points in this video. It just seems like so much of our policy in the west is based on the idea that women feel that nature has been unfair to them, so society tries to correct that with social policy because men have a desire to want to run to the rescue for women. So many men can’t occupy a rational middle ground when it comes to women. Either they’re being oppressed or men are running to the rescue. As soon as women occupy a rational middle ground in the minds and imaginations of men, that’s when we’ll see some real progress.

Indeed. It's always a man's fault. Men are horrible.

I was one of the many that was being chewed up through divorce in the early 2000’s. There were NO support systems available for MEN. As Paul as stated even in the therapy spaces it was very gynocentric and covertly bordered on shame and blame. He is correct when stating the MGTOW space has many contributors and many points of view. I myself personally in my HEALING process have viewed many of these sites. Yes, at times it’s confrontational, but the bottom line is they are there, available to support MEN, many at the most vulnerable point in their lives. Sometimes just having someone there knowing what you’re going thru is all that you need to stop the spiral.
