- Minecraft Guide 28 has us all over the place inside of the nether in order to create the very basics of a nether hub system with portals at the starter base, the cherry cove, and the newfound desert zone. in this video i show you how to link nether portals and use them to travel super fast! this is for both minecraft java and bedrock edition!

I couldn’t knowingly steal their glory. My suggestion was about fortune only giving more wheat seeds, not the wheat itself
Honestly the best video I’ve seen on RUclips in a long time. Thank you for explaining thoroughly on how to correctly link nether portals. For the longest time I’ve been searching for videos on how to correctly do it, but nobody has ever gone into deep of explaining how to do it right. They kind of just cut to the chase. Thank you!
My fave Y coordinate in the nether for creating a network is Y 17. It's below the lava seas 99.9% of the time and I often come across ancient debris. The only downside is it connects to about the same Y level in the overworld so I have to create bubble paths to get to and from the surface, but it's not s big deal. (OTOH, it's nice for quickly getting down to the Ancient Cities.)
Also a Bedrock-only feature is you can use the overworld maps in the nether and as you move in the nether the map will show where you are in the overworld so you can use that to position new portals. Also remember - portals need to be 1024 overworld/128 nether blocks apart (at least on Bedrock) otherwise they link to the nearest one instead of creating a new one.

I have always been so confused by nether portals and linking them so this video was super helpful. Love your videos!
My personal preference is to hub at lvl 10. That way, you encounter netherite as your path, and it's below oceans. Statistically, you should have found 10-20 netherite when you made your hallway had you done it low.
Also, if you have crossroads at say 0 10 0 (or any number you can remember) and you get lost you can just go back to a 0 coord and dig down to the tunnel to get home. It also makes it easy to tunnel back when you find a fortress, bastion, or biome you want to return to.
I'm building an industrial district in my world and was working on making a toxic dump with the fog effect.
Now I know I can drop it from 15 layers to only 3-5.

PS: I went looking into what was in the orbs of the tent empire in the old guide (season 3) and I just found a sign saying "you thought I would hide it here LOL". I searched everywhere for hints but found nothing. Could you tell me what it is or at least give me a hint? I'd relly like to find out what is going on whif that easter egg.😂

Hey wattles for the tinted glass trick, a great idea and color scheme for the nether portal would be instead of pink and magenta, be orange and yellow and have the "floor block" be pure lava so it looks like the glass looks like the "fumes" the lava is emitting

Please take out the dirt under the nether rack and make it like a “floating” island! Would look so cool

Riddle answer: Simmons the wither. The wither is made of things from the nether, and as explained on the channel Wifies, the many rib fossils in the nether can likely be remnants of ancient withers.

If im at a place far away from base and I make a portal what will happen? Will it go to ÷8 in nether? Or do I have to go back to base, go through original portal and find the cords in the nether and build a portal there to come back? Pls someone help me.
I think it’d look wayyy better if you went in the ground and make the blocks surrounded the 2nd and bottom layer of like a dark block. It’d make it so much better

Actually, nether portals and elytra aren’t fastest way to travel. If you swim in a tunnel with max enchanted shoes (depth strider actually) and you have dolphins by the way to give you effect, you’ll be much more quick
I’m pretty sure portal linking is mainly just getting the overworld coordinates and dividing them by 8. The y level stays the same.
Or the y level could be different it doesn’t really matter
To a certain extent it matters but only when your linking portals that are really close together.

The answer to the riddle is The Wither. It can fly, is (technically…I think?) from the nether, and will attack the dragon because the dragon is not a undead mob. Also I think the mobs in the end need like there own classification (endlings?)

So annoying that on bedrock the glass block outlines don’t blend like they do on Java so the “fog” effect just doesn’t work. Makes me sad
Normally the glass won't blend on Java either. I believe it's done through Optifine (a mod).
