  • A 15 minute video that shows you how I created 2 images using blend modes and texture layers in Photoshop.
This video will show you how I prepared some double exposure images in Lightroom and then blended them in Photoshop and edited to give an oriental style look.

These images, particularly the jade one, are so beautiful and delicate. Many thanks for another inspiration tutorial, Glenys!

Thanks Glenys, inspired me to have a go at blending images and double exposure, neither which I usually use and it's always great leaning new things. Thank you !!

Thanks for this Glenys. I notice you're using JPG files, did you shoot in JPG, or convert from RAW? I use RAW and it's slowing things down a lot with massive files :-D

Hi Michelle, I always shoot raw but when you make double exposures with the Fuji it only stores them as jpgs, so don't have a choice in this case. I also use a Canon 80D which does use raw for ME but not my first camera and find it a bit clunky after using the Fuji for so long. But I can get up to 9 in the Canon but only 2 in the Fuji. 👍

You could convert them, if size is an issue, once you have made the edits and then combine them in Photoshop.
