- I heard this story many years ago and it came to me again this morning as I was walking my dog along the beach. It's a good reminder that although I might think I'm 'right' about something, it's always worth keeping a weather eye on whether I'm the one who needs to adjust and divert my course!
This is another good story for the children in school. Thank you Danyah x
@@MoSerby oh yes great idea! The children you teach are so lucky 🍀
Happy to watch you from Venice, Italy. How I miss the beaches in the UK! Great story, BTW.
@@spongisaurus8074 oooh glorious Venice! Lucky you! Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it! I too love UK beaches… will post more I’m sure as I walk here quite regularly with the dog x
An honest video. Now I'm travelling past 60 years old I'm rapidly realising that I've had lots of fallible thoughts in the past. But I suppose if we were born wise we'd never appreciate gaining wisdom throughout the years. Hopefully that's a wise thing to say. I realise it and quite a few of my other thoughts might not be now!
@@ebdavies100 wise words indeed! Life is an incredible journey isn’t it? Have you seen my video AFGO??
@@danyahmillerthestoryteller Thank you! I wonder how many people's lives turn out to be nothing like they predicted?! No, I haven't seen that one, I will try and find it.
@@ebdavies100 yes I wonder 💭
it was a very popular joke during communism. It was about a Russian ship !!! and a lighthouse. well over 50 years old. it is funny how it is still remembered.
@@LauraIFS oh that’s so interesting… Thanks for telling me. I love how stories travel round the world, changing and adapting as they go 🌍
