I was waiting some years for listen and play this song in CutiePie style. I'm not Irish but listening to this song I feel like one. Thank you Stephanie for this song !!!!
Thank you so much for this, Stephanie. I started learning the flute (just standard concert flute at this point) several months ago and was looking for a traditional Irish tune to surprise my partner's mother (she's Irish-Australian, but came from Dublin originally). And yes, she recognised it right away as soon as I played it on the flute!
God, I'm as happy and cheerful as a young lad when I watch your videos. This is sheer happiness and musical bliss. I lived in Ireland 20 years ago and became forever enamoured with the Irish music and the Irish people and their unique sense of humour. Whisky in the jar was one of my all-time favourite tunes that we hummed along in live music sessions at the Brazen Head and the then Slaughtered Lamb pub in Swords. It's been a good 20 years since those days and here I am with a tear in my eye remembering the happiness of it all. Thank you for your great work. :) ❤ PS - Could I please place a request? Main theme from Pirates of the Caribbean. Ta.
@@migueles4834 aww thank you, how lovely to help you with those happy memories, I'm so pleased you're enjoying my content ❤️ Ooooooooooohh I have a VERY old version from when I first started playing 7 years ago: ruclips.net/video/6Yj91s1xBQc/видео.htmlsi=2QAfHAcDSwPlif2I But I know there definitely are a few other tin whistle tutorials for this song on RUclips but other whistlers! You'd need to search 'He Is A Pirate, Tin Whistle Tabs' ❤️
I'm glad to see that this is now part of your tutorial repertoire. I loved listening to the Dubliners version in high school and i immediately looked for your tutorial when i wanted to learn to play it, was glad to see you uploaded a tutorial just a month ago.
Thanks for this trad tune, Stephanie. I just played it yesterday to try out my new susato low A whistle. (The acquisition syndrome is still not gone) Now I can try to play it as lively as you did. A nice challenge.
Hello! Is there any chance to play Cockey’s song from Once a pone a time in America film on a tin whistle D? Can’t find tabs for it.. I love the melody.. Can you provide some help please?! 🙏

We have this song in Israel in Hebrew we call it the sign you are young, it is about all the things that you do that show that you are still young
It really sounded familiar to me and it took me a while for the token to drop and I recognized where it was selling from
