Thought of this song this week as I was watching the movie, Dances With Wolves. This would have been the perfect song to roll credits to. So profound...why can't everyone see what's really going on? Why doesn't everyone see who is the real "Satan"...the true planetary controllers? "Specter" in the James Bond movies is how it is here and will remain till people awaken to the epic fraud that is government and religion, the organized tools of division...divide and conquer. OMG I love this song...I feel every word.❤️
A few things. Layer 1: A relationship that's distant due to the lovers past experiences, Layer 2: The disconnection between personal identity and the national culture (in this case Ireland and colonialisms impact on the national identity)
One of the most underrated track in his album. Really hope he performs this track more on his next tour!
So underrated. Some amazing lines! I think it not needing the guitar is why he doesn't.
The hook on this song is a number one hit.
That one damn song that can make me break down and cry...all night
Out of any of his songs, I did not expect to randomly tear up to this
ONE OF THE BEST HOZIER'S SONG ! BRAVO ! BELLA !
Every 2 months I come back to this video to have an identity crisis and feel the need to deconstruct the whole song
Bro same
I need him to perform this more😭
0:31 ❤
Still my heart is heavy
I love him
