Yes when Joakim screaming hi say. JA SÅ DÄR JA. And that means. "yeah just like that". And as a swed to hear Joakim sing in Swedish is an honour...🇸🇪👍🏼🤯👍🏻🇱🇺
Yes the coat is a replica of a carolean coat. It was pay back time for Apocalyptica for earlier pranks, so they dressed up as Sabaton. I was there and i will see Sabaton this friday, but first Hammerfall on thursday evening.🤘
I see you enjoy the Scandinavian culture and vikings. You should check out "Hulkoff"! He is a Swedish metal musician that mix old Scandinavian folk music with heavy/industrial metal. His songs are extremely poetic and he often sing songs about old norse events, people and tribes. He also makes songs about texts in the Poetic Eddas and Hávamál! The album "Pansarfolk" got the most folkmetal vibe and almost every album is availible in Svitjod and Vinland edition (Swedish and English). Pär Hulkoff also joins Sabaton from time to time while they're touring in Sweden since Hulkoff and Sabaton are great friends.
Paavo dressed as Joakim was a nice touch at this concert :) The guy with crazy hair is the drummer of Apocalyptica Mikko Sirén, slightly reduced set of drums there.
Saw them live in Wacken 2019 and on The Great Tour in February 2020. Both shows were an absolute blast. Just two days ago, I got to see my third Sabaton concert, and I didn't know it was possible - but that particular show really was even better than the two I've seen before. At least for me personally. I always wanted to see them perform one of their Swedish songs here in Germany, but of course they mostly do that in Sweden. Two days ago that dream was fulfilled, because they played Carolus Rex in Swedish! It was kind of fun to be one of the few people in the crowd who knew the lyrics :D But that aside - I think you will absolutely love the show. It has everything a Sabaton concerts needs. Fire, absolute contagious energy, fun, deep emotions (yes, I cried during 1916 and Christmas Truce xD), fireworks... even glitter! I can still feel the energy of the band, the music and the crowd two days later, and I can't wait to attend my next Sabaton concert. I wish you the same amount of fun I had and that it is such a great experience for you as it was for me! Oh - and the guy running around the stage while Chris stood in the front playing his solo was bass player Pär Sundström, a huge part of the heart and soul of the "Sabaton Empire" :D Anyways - I'm looking forward to more of your great Sabaton reactions - and have fun at the show next week!
Haha, it was Chris who I meant ;). I know Pär on sight but I hadn't focussed on Chris before I think... And about the concert; Amazing! I can't wait to be honest. Let's hope it is all you had as well!
No, it was Chris I meant ;). I know Pär well. I meant the guy giving the guitar solo. Pär is the bass player if I’m not mistaken. But thanks for the assist :)
Reading the Swedish to English lyrics and how different they are from the english track I have been listening to for the last 6 months is weird but also neat to see how the story changes.
I understand the Carolus Rex album lyrics do that. English lyrics tell the story on higher level and Swedish lyrics focus on feelings of individual people. So they are not translations.
Wow, you didn't recognize Pär? 😉 The Sabaton concert will surely be a great experience for you. Can you tell us afterwards how you liked it? It would be great if you could meet one of the band members. I wish you a lot of fun. 🤘
@@andreaseriksson4191 I know. Chris plays 7-string ESP guitars on stage far left, Pär plays ESP bass stage left and right (he moves!), and Tommy at stage far right plays various 6-string ESP, Ibanez and Charvel guitars.
I like the fact that u show a full scene of the show instead of a small square most do, to answer some questions u had during song. Yes these were the jackets Caroleans had in the 1700´s alson the reason why they have these barbed wires infront of stage isnt only for show, its also to make sure people dont get in front of the fire they shoot.
I already know you love this song as much as I do. The English version, nope this one with Apocalyptica ALWAYS. Bolero Apocalyptica you really really should so good.
Will see my first show soon, in 3 days in Copenhagen! I hope they do some some song from this album for sure because it's an amazing one, and I hope they do at least one in Swedish :) Would love to hear Lejonet Från Norden or En Livstid i Krig live :)
Apocalyptica dressed up in the same cloth as a prank to sabaton.😅😅 Me and my 14 and 11 years old Girls are going to see them in copenhagen April 30. Its my 4 time in 2 years. We saw them at Sabaton Open Air 2022.🤘🤘🤘
You have NO idea how excited I am :P. Not sure if I'll get merch as I am usually in a hurry to get the best spot possible and afterwards... I just want to continue the buzz and go home :P
@Viking Reacts I actually DO understand how excited you are! And I expect a full breakdown report afterwards! Go early...their merch is *incredible*! And theyll have more than one merch station, lines move fast...You're a big Viking...you can muscle thru to the front no problem (just say, "excuse me, I'm blind in one eye...") ppl are cooler than you imagine, at concerts!😉
Yes Viking 👍🏼 You have right there the jacket is from Svea Livgarde and Karoliner uniform as are Yellow inside and if you seen some Yellow so is it turned inside out some time in parade..👍🏼🇱🇺🇸🇪👍🏻
If you like Apocalyptica in this one, then you should also check out Lejonet från norden (the lion form the north) from the same concert in Stockholm. In that one you can see and hear them much more. A very good combination when you see both bands together. ruclips.net/video/aMTncPheLy8/видео.html
Oh that is definitely on the list! For now i am focused on the concert set list for next week so I have all those videos ready without being spoiled. But it shall be done! Thanks!
One of my Sabaton favorite songs this one. 😀 Can i suggest Race to the sea foryour next Sabaton reaction? Its about: The Battle of the Yser, which took place during WWI, began on October 16, 1914. The Entente and the Belgians successfully crushed the Germans’ hopes of continuing the Schlieffen Plan. Each attempt was foiled by entrenched machine guns and artillery, as well as by the deliberate flooding of the Yser Canal, which affected the German trenches. And do the official video, i can say that its a LOT of water in that video 😉😀🇸🇪
Haha, I think they compliment each other pretty well ;). I've seen Chris do his thing in other video's now (still to be uploaded) and I could facepalm myself for not noticing him earlier!
Yes when Joakim screaming hi say. JA SÅ DÄR JA. And that means. "yeah just like that". And as a swed to hear Joakim sing in Swedish is an honour...🇸🇪👍🏼🤯👍🏻🇱🇺
Since forever I was wondering what that means. Thanks mate

Hammerfall! I envy you ;)
Actually..the whole Carolus Rex album is my all-time favourite

Frankfurt a few day ago!
The ground was shacking
sorry if that was already answered but the guy you were confused by is Pär, the base player of sabaton. Chris has brown hair and is taller! :)

I always try to get a translation instead of the english version as they indeed often vary. Not sure how right I got it here... Can you enlighten me?
@@VikingReacts this is the correct translation of the Swedish lyrics
Yea, En Livstid i krig / A life time at War for example is from a very different perspective depending on the version of the song.
The direct translations likely won't rhyme
Awesome Reaction, can't wait to see Sabaton next Tuesday.
One day later for me! Can't wait either!
I thought the same about Queens We Wll Rock You. One of my favorites from Queen.

Yup, but as it's the same tour the stage setup was of course mostly the same.
You were within that amazing crowd singing along with the band. One of my favourite reacts I've done so far!
@@JariJuslin the difference being that Gothenburg and Stockholm have kind of a sibling rivalry when it come to a show like this.
Both Chris and Tommy are awesome guitar players, and they both have awesome hair! 🤣🥰

Can you react to Sabaton- Deadnoght and Soldier of heven
You guys see your boy Tommy. He is quite the personality and cut up. Go watch some of their non song videos…..
Yes they are wearing jackets from the Karolinerna. The soldiers outfit at that time. Blue jackets and yellow sleeves like in the flag of Sweden.
React to 1648 also by Sabaton.
I have recorded another Sabaton just now but will check this one also...
Can you please react to Home Free God bless the USA with Lee greenwood if you haven't.
Oh... I've just recorded Home Free - Ring of Fire. I'll add your suggestion to the ever growing list of to do's ;)
The other guitarist is pär
name of guitar player is Chris and my opinion he is better than tommy...no disrespect to tommy. He's pretty good too.
