Bula!! Oh my gosh sounds amazing. Love that you're going back- if you pick Serenity, let us know how it is!! We are so curious to see how the development goes. We absolutely loved it!
Thanks for your review. Was there with a friend in May 2019 and it's one of the best places I've been to to disconnect. Your description of the island - my second home, staff that feel like family, the kava ceremonies, the beach, poolside etc. is spot on. Brought back great memories. Did you go to Cloud 9 ? That was quite an experience too. Different.
Awww thank you so much for your comment - I’m so glad you felt the same way :) we really want to go back one day- just such a special place :). We did not!!! I guess we will have to come back to fiji to go there 🤣
Great video. One of the reasons why we go there at the end of March. I have a question. Are you able to use credit card for any payment over there? Or should we bring cash? Thank you.
Hey Petr!! Thanks so much for your comment- I'm so glad you're going there and I can't wait to hear about it. We always recommend taking some cash out of the ATM in Nadi before heading to the islands just in case you need it, but the hotel does accept all major credit cards (we paid with a Visa on property) so you are all set with credit cards. Typically, when we get to an international destination, we take about about $200 USD for miscellaneous expenses or in case we need it for emergencies, but we rely most on credit cards.
Voyager Guru Thank you for info. It’s very helpful. One more question. What ferry did you take to get on the island? Serenity resort offers us a ferry from Vuda Marina. But I also found there is a regular ferry from Denarau via South Sea Cruises. Any recommendation?
Hey! So we did the transfer through serenity directly (it’s probably not the cheapest option but it was the easiest for us). Their transfer picked us up on time at the airport and took us to denarau to take the ferry. Personally, we did this so last minute that we didn’t have the energy to figure out how to get to the ferry and all the details involved. However, taxis are very easy from the airport and you can take a cab to the denarau ferry port and ferries leave pretty frequently. There’s a shopping mall there to kill time :).
Thank you for the review, very genuine 😁 you guys have inspired us to book

@@VoyagerGuru awesome! Thanks so much!
Now this is my kind of place: secluded, tranquil, the turtles, aqua blue waters, the turtles, the local culture, and, did I mention the turtles??
Right?? so beautiful!! Have you been to Fiji?
@@VoyagerGuru - Not yet but that area is in my sights :-)
