    Don’t get me wrong-she’s hella strong. But the rope climb, she was kinda struggling, but look at all the gymnastics who easily do a rope climb with legs in a perfect straddle.
    I’m in no way saying she’s not strong, just making an observation that surprised me!

    • @franceshancock6742

      Sam A that’s because a specific movement is also about coordiNation between group muscles, not just about the strength of individual muscle groups. Maybe she hasn’t been doing this exercise for too long.

    I think that it's great that she is growing up with a solid foundation for health and nutrition that will carry on into adulthood, but why are 10, 11, or 12 year olds lifting in competitions when they shouldn't even be weight training yet? A professional should know that. A professional meaning that they received the required education and license or certification necessary. My son has been training in MMA and taekwondo for years. He started boxing much earlier than his gym allowed but it was only technique, speed, and agility training. He wasn't allowed to start lifting until he was almost 15. Their bones and muscles are still developing and starting too early can lead to major problems.

      Myth.
      Kids can weightlift with no danger from the age of 7.
      Parental guidance is necessary,
      They need to inspect that the kid is safe and Educate them to have a good form,
      Not like the girl's shitty form in the videoclip which trains in crossfit.
      Crossfit isn't good for strength,
      Only "good" to injuries.
      Body RIP

    • @madreep
      @madreep 4 года назад +4

      @@liron-hazan the myth is that lifting stunts their growth. It is not a myth that it is recommended that a child wait until skeletal maturity before weight training. Young children's bones are more prone to stress fractures and more. Children do start lifting at younger ages but that doesn't mean that it's recommended. What's recommended is resistance and reps at 7. 10 to 15 pounds. And learning good form of course. Obviously parental guidance is necessary. I don't train my son though. He has a trainer. But no professionals would train him that young. I got a handful of denials and chose to make him wait after discussing it with his orthopedist. He already has had a stress fracture from his martial arts training and my focus is on preventing problems later in life. He was physically capable but his body still needed to mature.

    What a great father! He's taught his daughter how to live a healthy life on all levels. He's given her the tools and, indirectly, the self confidence for her to believe she can be whoever she wants to be. The fact that he embraces his daughter's interest in all types of athleticism and encourages her in weight lifting and has her actively practicing self-defense....just awesome! The best way to show your daughter you love her is to teach her how to protect herself.
