I'm back. I jumped on the discounted whirlwind tour (yes, there was even a tornado in one of them) of this new Vayify guy, and I have to say the previous episode, your ermm 'Perfect Start'?...was hilarious! I think Mrs. Rambler even heard me cackling down the hallway - she says "Hi!" by the way. The Breaking News ticker announcing the imminent doom of the first 2 nomads was genius. This time around I did hear the words "pause the game!" a lot more often than I'm used to in a Vay vid. I've always found there to be wisdom in those 3 little words. Just sayin'. ;-)
Hey Mr Rambler! I wanted a little more entertainment value in my videos in the form of laughing at myself, so I’ve tried two different methods over both videos to see what everyone thinks… oh and Hi MrsRambler! 😄 I’m older now, much older, sometimes I have to pause for my brain to catch up 🤣
@@Vayify Ahhh, older... That explains so much! I could go as much as 5 minutes in Banished without remembering to turn the game back on, and now I know why. Well, as many said to me long ago...may the Pause be with you!
You have survived. It is nice to have the laughter with my coffee in the morning again. I have no clue what Mega has included, so don't have a specific suggestion. You probably have a number of gatherer options you could try.
My mistake was going for fish in a poor spot, but sounds like hunting blinds are the way to go! Hopefully more laughs will be on the way as I continue uploading 🙂
Yay! You ended up with more colonists than you started with! (barely) :D Your plans to buy seeds are gonna make you cry when you see how stupidly expensive they are - you might have to resort to darker methods to finance your farms ("Your children. How much for your children?") :D
That definitely wasn’t your fault with the cruel spawn locations of the nomads. I like to start with tents and small gatherers etc then get them educated as soon as possible. I think if you put a small town centre in that’s where the nomads will spawn? Anyway it was very funny
hunting blinds under raw food = ducks meat and feathers... It is a little grass hut that goes next to the river...I guess comments like this one is best in a stream... LOL... They come get food at the beginning of each season if that helps you understand food distribution. There is a tiny gatherer in the last mod... there should be one in this one... I think you should at least have one part time.. It's really good to see these though. I've missed bossing you around... LOL... You will get back in the swing of things soon enough and have more people than you know what to do with... I've been playing Final Fantasy 14 online so haven't played much of anything else..
Hunting blinds! I can’t believe I forgot about those little food making machines 🙉 I tried Final Fantasy online and didn’t get on with it, I guess I’m still a old school SWG and WOW kinda person. I have a couple of other games that I plan to throw into the mix just to keep things interesting, it’s just balancing my time as I forgot how much time recording and editing took 😀
@@Vayify Time taken to record, edit and upload... I remember the time well... and well understand you trying to make a balance of time... It's still good to see these videos...
I've done a few saves on MM9, but I went back to MM8... a few too many crashes and such... and my question hasn't been answered on (the Banished) Discord yet, so no idea when I will try it again
Touch wood I’ve not experienced any issues with crashes yet… 🤞🏻To answer your question, it is being worked on as and when Kralyerg has the time as far as I know
@Lori79 You haven't gotten an answer, because I don't have an answer. 😀 It's not *not* being worked on. It's just hard to find the time and the drive to really sit down and dig into it.
At some point you didn’t know how to make a comment on RUclips, so why did you continue? If every time someone didn’t know how to do something they avoided it, humans would be extinct… anyway, I do know how to play Banished and I’m sure there would be many who would disagree with you
@@Vayify Yes, I am on team Vayify! He definitely knows how to play the game. Perhaps you (Bledar) would do things differently but that is okay: everybody does! Why don't you bless us with a playthrough of your own and I will gladly watch that! Perhaps even comment :)

Banished loves to throw a curveball here and there, it’s one of the things I love about it
