Yay!
Double yay! Thanks for stopping by, buddy!
Right on time to play
Absolutely! Thanks for checking this one out, and keep an eye out for more. I'm like a kid in a candy store!
Wow that's a great looking machine! Picking up my KX033-4 this week in middle Tennessee. It was so hard to decide between the KX033 and the KX040. In the end the lack of a DPF and no EGR is what made me choose the KX033.While I do think we need to have cleaner air, Ive just had so many diesels now (with and without DPF/DEF/ EGR)....and without a doubt.....the engines with none of the emissions stuff have last twice as long as the ones with it.
Also the 33 has 91% of the same breakout force as the 040, yet the 040 has nearly twice the horsepower. That tells me that they are choking that 040 motor up with the emissions stuff.
Yessir, I like this size machine for sure. I did find that the 40 was a bit light for what I was wanting to do (land clearing, stumping, etc), though. My next machine will be a 12k-ish machine, like an 057, Yanmar vio55, etc. I ran a vio55 last week and it was a noticable difference. Thanks for watching!
CONGRATULATIONS, gonna have some fun
Thanks so much, Denise! Definitely looking forward to getting to use it, that's for sure!
Awesome machine! Just found your channel and subscribed! Love seeing mini ex vids!
Thanks for watching. Definitely plan on having more!
Should of got a ram lol. I can drop my tailgate from the cab or the key fob and it has a camera in the bed with the line for hooking up goosenecks and 5th wheels. You running the stock 10ply on the Lamar dump or have you upgraded them to 14ply?
It has the stock 10ply tires. I got a great deal as a 2019 closeout on it last year, and I figured I'd switch up the tires once they start to have issues. Luckily, not yet! Thanks for checking it out!
I share your dream brother! Been looking at the exact same unit you just bought. What size truck and dump trailer do you have that used to haul your new prize?
Good luck, they are difficult to find. One dealer I talked to said they ordered about 1/3 of them with the SP2 package for the dual ports. Many others had never heard of it or knew what it was! I am pulling it with a 6.2L gas F250 and a 7'*16' 14k gooseneck dump from Lamar. Definitely not ideal, but it does ok for the short term. Definitely looking to upgrade to a single axle tractor soon.
Good for you! Looks like fun
Thanks so much Gina! I love it so far. Can't wait to come back down to y'all's place for a project or two!
Hank is going to be jealous and mad that you moved and then got that nice toy.
Yeah, I was looking at them when I was still down next to him, but I couldn't ever find a used one. Moving here to Tennessee we have family in the business, too, so it just makes sense! I'm sure it'll wind up in Hamiltonville on a project or three whenever he needs it.
Watch out hank doesn’t come around and show you how to operate it now
I definitely need all the help I can get!
Woah dude, that is absolutely spectacular!!! Congratulations sir!!! I worked for a company that had a Cat 308, 303, and 301.8. They all had cleaning buckets in their arsenal. The little 301.8 had a 36" wide bucket. They are made for cleaning and shaping canals and ditches. And yes, the secondary hydraulics is a VERY good option! Again, CONGRATULATIONS to you Brandall! I know you will enjoy this machine!!!
Thanks so much! Definitely looking to add to it with some additional buckets in the future, as the situation warrants. Might even build or modify a couple. Thanks for checking it out!
Nice machine Brandell. The extra remotes for the Thumb is great idea. Especially for a mower/bush hog or even a jack hammer implement. You have a great week buddy.
Thanks Dean! That's definitely the idea, for mower, hammer, auger, or anything else. Hopefully it'll get some use, because it was hard to find this setup!
Enjoyed this video Brandell. I can see why you were so excited. And I am jealous. Lol. Nice addition to the fleet.
Hey, thanks Terry! I am very excited to put it to work. It'll take some getting used to again, but really looking forward to the seat time!
What size trailer do you have?
The trailer I picked it up with is a 7'*16' Lamar dump, with 2' sides and 7k axles (14k rating). I bought a 22' (18'+4') PJ flat trailer, rated at 16k, later on.
