I'm so obsessed with CTF. At first I thought I might grow tired of it quickly but I actually like it more with each day. It also kinda sounds like a movie OST (fitting for how the mv isn't shot like Kpop AT ALL) which now makes me hope that TXT will get that chance one day
Speaking of TXT, and it’s up to you, I think it’d be fun if you react to TXT’s own variety show called, “TO DO.” They do not disappoint, especially in later episodes as they get more experience in the industry.
Not gonna lie, since they already hit us with the Western pop sound with “Do it Like That” & “Back for More” as singles, I was longing for something completely different for the title track. It’s still a good song, so I’m not taking anything away from it, but I was left rather disappointed for playing it safe and not giving them something new to experiment with. An example would be 0X1=Lovesong, one of my favorites. Even Loser=Lover. I was left surprised and appreciated that they gave TXT something new to experiment with. Especially after coming off of Blue Hour, which had a completely different vibe from the next two titles. But hey. That’s just my honest take. If you’re a huge fan of “Chasing That Feeling” as the title and were left impressed, more power to you. I’m not gonna hold anything against you for liking it.
Everything you don't like about this song is what I love about it! I love the retro vibe, the special effects in the video, and the '80's disco dancey beat!! ❤

Just say the truth that you don’t like TXT, don’t blame the song. TXT make different genres of music, surely until now you had to like at least one of their songs but no, you aways say “this song wasn’t my type” then what is your type? Other groups?
I turned 16 in 1980, so I know the sounds of the 80s very well, and I think the way Jimin referenced the 80s in Like Crazy was perfect. He took some 80s elements and re-configured them in a very interesting way. I watched this this MV the other day, and I was just not into it. Watching you react was the first time I’ve heard it since, and frankly hearing it a third time made me very sure that I will not be listening to it again. There was a lot of 80s pop music that did not impress me back then, and this sounds a lot like those songs. I am tremendously fond of TXT, so it was a real disappointment for me. They are so good, and they deserve a better song. There are a lot of elements in 80s music worth revisiting and reworking. This song does not deliver such a thing, unfortunately. So, yeah, I totally agree with your reaction, and frankly, was relieved that I wasn’t the only one who felt unimpressed. I also didn’t care much for the video. I know these guys are fantastic, and they’ll do great things again. This just isn’t it.
My thoughts on this comeback as fan since txt debut: the song is very basic and repetitive, I feel like hundreds of artists could release it! It's not bad, but I believe it's not at the level of TXT, especially being a successor to "sugar rush ride". The mv certainly deviates from the kpop standard and that really displeases me when it comes from a *kpop group*... Overall I found it a bit disappointing, but I'm already used to TXT's titles being hit or miss for me! ps: if u like, it's fine. I'm not saying you should agree with anything!
