Loved the video, subbing for now, but *please* be careful not to include sudden loud sounds like the bottle pop! I had to unsub from so many ASMRtists because they spent 80% of their video relaxing and low-volume, I was dozing off, then they started tapping on a skincare product's lid with hard acrylic nails, immediately snapping me out of my sleep because it was sudden and loud as hell. If you have insomnia and get startled awake, it's very hard to go back to sleep again. Making sure your video's volume has no sudden changes and there are no unexpected harsh sounds (unless you're doing fast and aggressive) is probably the best thing you can do for your channel. Wireless earbuds are super cheap now and they're great for non-intrusive monitoring. Sorry for preaching, I really liked this video I'm just a little worried because I had to unsub from so many people because they woke me up with a loud trigger 25 minutes in 😫
Thanks for subscribing, and for the feedback! This is great advice, I appreciate you taking the time to share it. I'll be making an effort to be mindful of that going forward and am going to focus on learning more about audio editing too. Happy New Year!
@@SerenityNowASMR Happy NY to you too! Audacity is a very plain-looking but fully functional audio editing software that's completely free, and you can download all sorts of plugins for it. You can compress or normalise stuff to your desired volume, take the sharp edges off, if you google any issue you might have, someone will probably have an answer for you. Good luck with your channel, and the gender-neutral stuff is always great. While I personally don't mind getting my non-existent beard cut or having a full face of glam make-up applied to me as long as the triggers are good (I literally never wear make-up IRL), it's a good way to pull a wider audience. Anyway, I'll shut up now 💀
@aquana Thanks for the recommendation! I've heard good things about Audacity and will be checking it out. I'm currently using an outdated (CS6) version of Adobe Premiere, purchased years ago before they offered a monthly subscription plan. Editing audio is new to me though, so maybe a more simple software like Audacity will be more straightforward to learn. Thanks again!
This was such a nice idea! I hope you have a Happy New Year!!!
Thanks for watching, Happy New Year to you as well!
