My opinion is that it is like sending a signal to each and every citizen of North Korea that they are not alone, although it is not said that all of them know or are informed that this place exists. Just looking beyond is sending a message of solidarity to the other side and looking at reality is an economic benefit for your country, which in the future, could help others, on the other coast. Enjoy your coffee. 🙏

@@creative-impact-grow So you just see it simply being able to view into another if that is all them there is no problem thought you had one of those SK anti NK agendas but it seems you have stated that is not the case. Thank you for your opinion.

@kathieensauerbrei51... Seems you have never traveled to NK, research people that have actually and you will learn more than you think you do. The country also is not divided there are two countries on the pensula and the people prefer it that way and that should be respected.
I visited the DMZ beginning of this year. It was so strange, I really will go and visit this for sure though when I go to Korea in March of this year !
Triumph of capitalism! Starbucks has its merit, but unfortunately, some cafes are located in historical places where it just spoils those places' historical value and, in some cases, it spoils the landscape view. There should be respect for historical places and a good sense to preserve them instead of use them to make profit. It is not just Starbucks. Other big companies do the same, especially franchising companies.
But if you consider the life of a North Korean it is easy to feel grateful for your life in SK. Even the homeless in SK have it better than a North Korean. You have to remember how the people in NK are treated
