The Best Lower Third definitely should have been the quip about Shelfy being 'hunched over coming out of the tent because his back hurts from carrying Plouffe.'
One of my favorite moments from BB5 was when Kelsey brought up being humble, and Plouffe's heel character briefly disintegrated with a big ole smile as he agreed with her. Another very fun tournament, Jomboy Media. Well done Dalt, Shelfy, Cohen, Rosey, Moylan, mystery facemask fan, JIMMY (how could I almost forget Jimbo and his redemption arc?!), Dack Joyle & Dō ZeMalia, Sam & the production crew, and everyone else involved. You knuckleheads help keep me sane. ✌️
I think the stats guide on the voting sheet is ultimately a good thing but can kind of prove to be a detriment sometimes with two such examples: 1. Jimmy without a doubt had the best hitting stats in the tournament, but Nicky Cass had stats that were very close while having to play an additional game which was the grand finals against a Cy Young candidate in Trevor Plouffe, which no doubt hurt his hitting stats. I don't think that Jimmy is a wrong answer persay but I think that most voters will just look at the stats and then vote when there's sometimes more nuance than that. 2. Dalton was a great pitcher but I think the volume matters a lot for Cy Young here considering the already small sample. So with Plouffe having nearly double his innings and only marginally worse pitching stats I actually think he got robbed here and should've been the runaway. All 3 other pitchers on the ballot were at nearly half his innings pitched, and with a 1.43 ERA he was elite at preventing runs in addition to throwing the bulk. But again, I think people saw lowest ERA and voted lowest ERA, or were just biased to Dalton because he did have a really great tournament/year.

Maybe it's harder to get that thing cleaned than it seems and they just don't have the time...?
