I bought this station a few weeks ago, I pick it up a couple of weeks ago, I returned it last friday... hey, it is an ok power station but... for $600 or $700 (only for the station) plus at least 4 batteries for $130 or $190 plus $220 or $280 for the solar panels, with that kind of money you can buy an Ecoflow/Jackery/Peckron/etc solar generator for around the same money and have better/faster/a more powerful station... then plug on it a $30 to $50 30 minutes/fast charger ryobi battery charger and use other devices while charging the solar station. Keep in mind, the Ryobu station use a USB-C to charge its battery packs at a max of 60 watts. Also, Ryobi claims peak 3000 watts... in real life it cannot handle more than 2400 watts peak... however, it does handle up until 1840 watts (yes it is not a typo, indeed 1840) of running power.
Thanks for update of info. I've made comments about the 60 watt USB-C output. That the A/C inverter can't be on while plugged in (no UPS function). Limited solar input power..etc..etc on a few other channels and typically no response from Ryobi or even a YT'r erases my comment. I'll wait to see if they update this to the 21st century. Ryobi engineers working on this project apparently did not look at what the others are offering.
I love mine. Batteries are a dime a dozen; all garage sales and flea markets have them. Plus the occasional 68 percent off sales on factory reconditions.
Love mine. Have both the 18 and 40 volt machines. Plenty of batteries for 3 complete change outs on each platform. Mostly factory reconditions at 68 percent off. I do love a good sale.
Appreciated. It would be interesting to see a demonstration of the solar charging capability and how long it takes to charge a 4 or 6ah battery with the 60w USB-C
I've seen it and it takes awhile to charge a 6ah. If u tried to charge all 8 it would take like 12 hours roughly or more depending on the strength of the sunlight so it's a good thing but not to great
I bought this at 599.99 U.S. with 4, 6 amp hour batteries deal no longer available. I had to take back the first unit to get that deal with batteries. I also have about 12 batteries before getting the other 4.

I love mine as well, I already had a ton of batteries why not use them!
Thanks for the demo and info, have a great day
This item can be purchased with four 6amp hour batteries for 749.99

I ended up taking batteries off and put them on two fast chargers.
I will see soon if it has pass through charging
@@WhatsForDinner1 no it doesn't when a solar panel is connected it can only charge the batteries
It would've been good to show some runtime test with the batteries you have like with a refrigerator, tv ,fans etc.
Does it comes in a 220v volt variant?
In states I don’t believe so idk if they will offer it in other markets!
Ryobi 18-Volt 1800-Watt Power Station Battery Inverter Push Button Battery Generator/8-Port Charger does it have pass thru charging capable?
No pass through charging I posted a short about it. & just posted another short minutes ago
for $650 with no battery for $750 with 4 6amp battery, the $750 is a better deal, ( or just sell the 4 6amp battery for $200, and you get it for $550)
I returned it when they came out with the 750 deal…
Ree-oh-bee

It is awfully expensive for just a circuit card in a plastic case and no batteries.
