Its the authenticity issue in hip hop is the blame for this. When rap had variety the thugs was the thugs....conscious was conscious. And nobody in either category swerved out their lane to PROVE anything to you. Its the Tupac effect. Tupac was actually conscious until his lyrics categorized him and then he was backed into a corner and attacked out of fear. You have to defend yourself and if you REALLY in the skreets. J Prince gave the best advisemet...you gone do music or you gone do that...but you cant do both...and this is why. Bc on a certain income level you ARE judged. Music is a public message. Thats what the hip hop war is about. They taking on social ill for talking about it.

First of all rappers are killing people or the people that’s in there circle. Rock stars and country folks not doing that. Blacks gotta hold themselves accountable if you did a crime and get caught do the time.

These men need to stop sugarcoating these stupid men behavior. Thug was literally struggling before rap. So why mess up the bread. You must not have watched 1 minute of the trial. The only unsolved murder is Nut whose killer is either dead or took a plea. They haven’t figured that part out. It seems that his brother Shellkell was messing with Mook Tooks girlfriend. Shellkell is a half brother of Nut. So he was killed because of that I have been watching intently and the state does not have a case. If so the would have prosecuted years ago because there is no recent evidence that is being shown all from 2015. I think Thug is guilty of hanging around street dudes who did street things, but he wasn’t giving orders.. just my observations and opinions
