She was destined to be more famous. I remember I first watched them and I just instantly liked Beyoncé more. She sounded good, she had presence and she was pretty. So were the other girls but they just didint stand out

I'm kinda sick of "behind the scenes" stories from groups where backing vocalists are spiteful towards the leads (another example would be Melody Thornton and Nicole Scherzinger in the Pussycat Dolls) - sick of it. Don't resent someone else for having the same dream as you and getting cast in a better role - that doesn't make your role bad or your life not meaningful. Not everyone needs to be the Beyonce - quite literally. You can be amazing and special and your life can have incredible meaning and amazing experiences, all the while you are a backing vocalist or background dancer. You're gonna be okay. Stop making that a shameful thing.
I think the difference here is that Destiny’s Child were friends unlike Nicole and the other members. Also, Nicole brought it upon herself as she had a lot of control when Beyonce didnt have that much control, it was mostly Matthew.

I think LeToya Luckett is not aware that before the Scandal took place in Destiny's Child the fans thought and expected both her and Kelly Rowland to be the breakout stars in that so people still feel some kind of way because I know in my opinion LeToya Luckett is not where I think she should be when it comes to her career honestly I feel that LeToya Luckett should be the one where Beyonce is and even Kelly Rowlands and LeToya Luckett fans are still a little salty because that scandal took a few years out of Latoya's career now Latoya is not salty about it we're least she claims she's not salty but I think we're angry on her behalf.
