Jim said that they wanted to give more time for sid and Craig to shine in this album after not being used alot in the pasts albums. So yeah that's why you hearing sid and Craig alot in this one, also in wanyk will be the same

This intro is almost hard for me to listen to because I lost my oldest brother right when this album dropped so a lot of this album hits me a little different.

I adore "XIX." Strong Nine Inch Nails vibes on that track, and it really suits Corey's voice.

XIX is the best opening track in all slipknot albums.

It's between that and prelude 3.0 because they are actual songs rather than tracks. Both very powerful and XIX has incredible meaning.

This is my second favorite song from the album after the negative one, those songs are so cool, so sad that Corey's voice was so damaged at the time, the good think is that nowadays corey has his best screams since iowa

It's clown guy who is talking at the beginning.
If you ever react to this song live, please do with the rock in rio 2015 video. You can really hear the maggots sing along, just amazing.

It's kinda funny, when they were touring in support of this album, before they'd play AOV, Corey would say, "this is a new song with an old twist." But Sarcastrophe is closer to Self-titled/Iowa era Slipknot than AOV is.
    In my opinion, anyway.

The songs from the album have censored the f bombs and other bombs for some reason , but there's also an explicit version of every song which doesn't have that ( I had to make another gray chapter playlist with those xD )

XIX is the best intro of all the album, Corey's voice in this song is one of my favorite!

The next WANYK track you should do is Red Flag. It is a stonker, but before that you really have to do the stand alone single released before WANYK and that is All Out Life. If you follow your plan of one track of each album then it will never be done as it's not on an album and that would never do petal. Just thought I'd chip in with my two pennorth. Don't want you to think I've buggered off.🤓

XIX is such a great opening track. It has no drum kit or bass to symbolize no more Paul & Joey from the OG lineup.

From what you said about "angry corey", I'd gather from that that you appreciate this corey era more because it has the anger but has a certain type of maturity that he didn't have back during iowa, which is fair. Corey has come a long way with his style over the years.

  • @damcrazy26

Nothing to add really, but just a warning when you get around to watching videos again, XIX & The Negative One (especially unedited) have a lot of nudity. Dunno your stance on that, but I know how people can be lol, and just wanted to give you fair warning. Cause The Negative One is one of my favorites on this album.

I'm probably wrong but I think the intro might be Sid? At least it sounds a hell of a lot like Sid to me and I'm going to continue believing it is because you don't really hear any of the other members besides Corey Shawn and Chris on these albums.
And that definitely is a baby, I would hope that it's an actual recording of Paul's daughter but it might just be stock sound and meant to represent that.

if you have not done wait and bleed, corey does the singing and screaming mixed together in that one,, also a new voice for you to name,, A new voice which is scream singing, (well not new,, 99 self titled).
