I don't have enough good things to say about having the AP2 connected to my F1 Ultra. I work in an office/lab around other people and it would be impossible to use the F1 Ultra without the AP2. I tried using the F1 Ultra with one of those commercial room air purifiers and while the the generic air purifier identified there was bad air (VOC LED on top) and ramped up, (even sitting directly behind the F1 Ultra) it didn't do much for removing the stench of melted acrylic or vaporized aluminum oxide. I got the AP2, directly attached it to the F1 Ultra and now I can cut anything. It doesn't smell at all or trigger the VOC alarm on the generic air purifier, but I'm not about to go cutting/engraving acrylic or other real stinky or toxic stuff without an additional vent to the outside. One thing of note for the F1 Ultra is that it works with the auto mode, but I set the shutoff to longer than default and I don't open the F1 Ultra until the AP2 turns back off. I have also already 3D printed a ton of fixtures and mods for the F1 Ultra so it can better handle batch engraving and to get better direct air flow at the Bed... I saw someone in the XTool/F1 community made an air assist kit. I created a similar solution, but it's one piece and it has provisions for a 40mm fan to allow air to flow at the bed, which I believe helps the AP2 work to clean the air in the F1 Ultra faster. I didn't imagine the AP2 would work so well... I just hope cleaning it will be uneventful and affordable...
Great presentation. Very informative..
What a great video! Does it come in different colors?
