I have tried several gimbals and this has to be the worse performing. IMO I would save a little more and buy a better one. There’s no integrity in this video, but I understand you are limited to what you can say about this gimbal because it was given to you for free.
The AK2000 doesn't work with the Canon EOS M50 with kit lens. Why? The panning axis has a Ruler which goes from 0-5, but I can only set it to 4.3 because of that useless stop on the plate underneath. Don't you check your products??? Got it today and had to send it back. Very disappointing!
Gerald Joehri Gerald Joehri it is happening the same thing to me. I though it was just me, but it seem that the axe balance on cannon won’t work. Did you return it or did you find a solution?
Thank you for making these types of budget gear videos. It helps out creators like me that are either young or beginners and we can’t afford expensive gear! You need more recognition!
I've got an SPG and a a2000 Feiyu Tech. Am probably going to get this one too. Have been impressed with quality of all their gimbals. I do think they could do better with firmware updates. Would be nice to see a new feature added occasionally ... Nice review ... thanks.
Hi! What camera are you using with the gimbal? I'm seriously thinking of buying the AK2000, my camera is a Canon SL3 and I was told by the seller that it couldn't connect via wifi but I can using an E3 shutter cable. However, will this also help me control more than just start and finish recording? For exmaple using the zoom, too? Great vid, greetings!
Thanks the review, good thoughts on the gimbal! Quick question: if the camera is balanced, and I take it off the gimbal with the quick release plate solution, is it possible to flatten out the gimbal? So when I'm not shooting video, and continuing a hike for example can I put it back in my bag in a flat position?
Hello , i bought also the FeiyuTech AK2000S advanced kit and today i installed the gimbal. I like the gimbal very much, but i have a question. I have a panasonic GH5s camaera and i want to connect the gimbal with the camera. But all the cables don't do anything. The gimbal wil not connect with the camera. The camera asked with what it must connect, a PC or a printer. I don't know what tot do. Can you help me. Do you now a solution? Thanks, Eric Holm
Great review! I plan on ordering one myself. One thing that's bothering me is the fact that I use Arca Swiss plates and mounts for every gear I own. And I thought, well why don't I just screw a Arca Swiss mount on the plate of the AK2000? But no-one on the internet seemed to have that idea or the need to do so. But then I finally found your review. My question is: Do you have any issues with the mount on the plate again, because I was concerned that it maybe affect the overall balance because of the added height. Thank you very much!
I have a question I'm hoping you can answer can I use this gimbal with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 camera, so is my DSLR camera compatible with the FeiyuTech AK2000S DSLR Camera Stabilizer Handheld Video Gimbal fit for DSLR Mirrorless Camera 2.2 kg Payload!*
With any gimbal you only get what you pay for...hence the cheap price I consider a good honest review, when people talk about the cons as well as the pros.
I own this gimbal it's very nice. But the battery door needs to be redisighned mine broke with gental use luckily feiyutech sent me a new one that's slightly redisighned with no spring but it still seems flimsy. If u drop the gimbal without the metal cap on the battery door will sure to break.
I have this gimbal sitting in the box, while quality and features are great it felt heavy and very heavy once installed DSLR. I could not see myself use it longer than few minutes at a time without getting serious arm strain. Mounted Nikon D7000 with nikkor 24-120 and this thing felt heavier or equivalent to a shovel filled with wet dirt. Wasn't as bad with mirrorless Sony alpha, but that had the pancake kit lens. Debating on returning it because of it, are there light weight options out there ?
Question for you. I have a Sony a7ii and can shoot up to 60 FPS would it be better to shoot at 60 FPS all the time just in case I want to slow it down for slow mo?
You definitely can do that, but I typically try to be intentional about my slowmo stuff, 60p looks strange to me for just normal stuff that isn’t slowed down. And you have to keep your shutter at 1/120 to get proper motion blur and that can mean higher ISO’s etc. so unless I know I’ll want to slow stuff down, I stick to 24p
Thank you for your amazing review!

I' have the same gimbal for about 3 months now - great choice!
Everything that I could have expected very good
Thanks for your hardworking on these reviews! I'm shopping for a new gimbal for a dslr, this one looks great! I'll think about it.
Nice visit and nice gimbal, I am very happy with my Feiyu ak2000.
yeahh..I just got this gimbal one month ago and it's so affordable for the price!!
Totally agree. I got this gimbal at B&H on a Christmas sale with the extension pole and follow focus for $380. Fantastic gimbal for the price!
Very good option. I'm telling my friends about It. 👍🏻

Can you use bluetooth or an app to manually control it or program it to move a certain way?
Will this work canon dslr 5d mark 2
I really like you content 😍😍😍 great work 💪💪💪
Great review!

Thank you very much!
for my gh3 rig i added a QR plate for my benro system, the added weight didn't mess anything up!
Does it have to be a mirrorless or can it hold heavier cameras?
Can you use a Canon 60 D with the gimbal
Nice review! The price is now dropping. I just ordered one today from B&H for US$299, plus they are throwing in the Follow Focus 2 for free!
Wow that’s a deal for sure!

You can try Zhiyun weebill s,it's better than ak2000s i think.
is it possible to make it work vertically, for example, for IGTV?

Nice wall! Nice GImbal
Low key copied you

how does the gh3 hold up with it?
Dang I got the moza air 325
I reviewed this as well. Great gimbal!

No lightweight options for that heavy Nikon set up. For your Sony with a pancake lens you could get away with the Feiyutech G6 plus or the crane V2
@@NigelBarros thanks, I will take a look
Do you know if it can pull focus with Panasonic cameras? It's so tempting... The ronin s essentials kit looks good at only a couple hundred more
My feiyutech G6 plus has no problem controlling the focus of my G7 (gimbal on GH5 mode) so I would assume this higher end model does too.

NigelBarros ok thanks! Just getting into video been only in the photography slowly wanting to learn video!! Thanks for your input
So I guess for 200$ in Greece it’s worth it 🤟🤔
wow great review!! new subs here..
Can I use this with the Sony a7ii
Yes! Recently used it with an a7s and it worked great!
NigelBarros thank you!
Prix
And I’m still using my zhiyun Crane V2 🏗
What plate are you using on it? Did you need any special screws for that?
do you use Image Stabililzation on the lens on or off? I've heard it both ways
It is impossible to balance the a7 III with the 24-70 GM lens on this gimbal. Yes, if I trow the 85 and will decently balance.
