Hello Gianna Garcia, How're you doing, it's been a long journey, and I'm nothing without amazing fans like you who appreciate my musical craftiness, All love to you and yours ❤️
@@CharlieCelt32 very nice moment! Loved how the bands security was telling everyone to move along but made the exception for the Dublin guy and even got Bono out of the car!
These moments must surely give U2's security detail the most worry complete strangers right next to Bono with no idea of their intentions thankfully I'd imagine the vast majority of fans are cool and excited without being dangerous bit as history shoes us it only takes 1 crazed person.

Id love to speak with Bono, but not in this kind of situation. Nothing feels more unnatural, the whole thing. I feel sorry for Bono, it's kind of sad that people are so desperate to have their 15 seconds of attention. People are so weird, but Bono does a good job at tolerating it all.
@@neilb3691 He is gracious, appreciates his fans and wants them to see that he appreciates them. Doesn't mean he always enjoys it. I'm sure it's not always great banter.
People used to show up at Bono’s house in the 80’s or the recording studio in Dublin. There are lots of stories of him inviting them in for tea or driving them places in his car. That mostly stopped when they got super famous but there were still some encounters like that up until their studio was torn down. They live in more secure places now
As much as I love listening to u2 over the years and particularly watching them live , i am not really into this as the proper kind of Irish people would agree with me , that’s why U2 still live in Ireland because we give them their space and don’t follow them around and make out how great they really are
@Simon Nielsen totally agree. Some people are trolls. Fans are why they have such privileged lives and a few seconds to ajgn or speak /listen to fans is just respect
I feel the same. As an introvert, I can’t imagine having to constantly make small talk with strangers. Extroverts might really enjoy it but it’s beyond my comprehension. I don’t want to do to celebrities what I would not want done to me. Especially the autograph thing. Even if I really wanted proof we met, I wouldn’t ask for one. But then listening to Conan O’Brien’s podcast he talks about thriving on the attention and wanting people to approach at all times. Says it hurts his ego if he notices someone hanging back like they are disinterested. He wants to entertain and make personal connections with anyone who “gets” him. It validates his life’s work. Bono strikes me as the same personality type.
For sure. I don’t know why people do this. It’s so cringey. They must like the fantasy of their gift being inside the person’s home. That’s another level of creepy
I felt like someone was going to say "Bono...my great great great great great great great great great........grandmother washed and perfumed your feet, Mary of Bethany...do you remember?..."
Well done bono- people like to have a dig at him but been to a lot of u2 gigs over the years- always makes time for his fans unlike bands nowadays
Welldone Bono for taking the time to accommodate everyone.
What a true Gentleman, having a deep Irish heritage makes me appreciate U2 even more.🎼💖🇦🇺

Biggest band on earth
It's refreshing at 3:35 to see a guy who wants to shake Bono's hand and converse with him; not shove something at him to sign.
It was me that shook that hand , and enjoyed a chat. One Dublin man to another ... thanks for noticing

Gotta go at the beginning of a tour. 4, 5 days out from opening night. You'll get lots of face time.
