I use to work for Onan... I designed sub panel for HUGE generators. You could turn your camper into a walk in freezer and not even cause a flicker! LOL
Should mention that after you dump your black tank and close the valve, you should always add about 5 gal of water into the black tank. that tank should NEVER become dry if you want to avoid septic issues. alot of rv'ers even go as far as using a trash can for tp instead of puting it down the toilet, x chocks are awesome! used them on my 5er for years.
Just bought 41' Road warrior 411 5th wheel triaxel. 22' garage to haul our two triglides. Had to buy one ton to pull it. Beats motel & ready to ride when ya get there. Happy trails...
Just found the channel, heard you say john prince park, I'm like whaaaa?! Thats my neighborhood! Very cool. The lady and I go there on the bikes pretty often. Did lion country a few weeks ago, stayed in a cabin, super nice. Realistically we're waiting for quiet waters to open back up, love their teepees. Lol
When backing up under the "guidance" of my wife, it ALWAYS ended up poorly. Especially if it had been a long trip. The blame game.....you told me to turn that way.........no I didn't, etc. You guys did great!
I laughed my rear off at that. One of my favorite tee shirts I have ever seen "I am sorry for all of the things I said while I was backing up the camper."
Easily two baggers or one trike. I am 99% sure I can fit two baggers and my golf cart in. Mine is freakish in that it has the cargo capacity to hold all of that. What kind of tow rig do you have? That really dictates what kind of rig you can get.
Little camping tip for your black water tank.....paper will sometimes stick to your level sensor. Put Dawn dish soap and a large bag of ice into your toilet when you are about to take it somewhere. The ice acts as an agitator with the soap and will clean the inside of your tank. When you get where you're going drain the water thats left. Your sensor will be clean and give you a truer reading!
Be careful with the Dawn...you see how much suds can be created just with a squirt in your sink...I saw a dude with suds coming out his vent stack at a campground...he went to dump and hooked up the hose to his tank flush and BOOOOOOM brown suds..🤮🤢...dawn soap and high pressure in the tank....I use Laundry detergent (“He” detergent because it does not suds up) and a couple caps of Calgon water softener. The detergent cleans and the water softener breaks down solids in the tank. Boax will do the same as the water softener. Never used ice, (but makes sense and may try) just a few gallons of water and the detergent and softener sloshing around while driving to camp then dump when I get there. Squeaky clean tanks and nice smell. Even do it in gray.
Two things I did not see and you did not mention Water pressure regulatior AND a Surge protector. These are both important as you have no idea the infrastructure of the park you are camping in and both a water spike or electricity spike in your RV can cost thousands to repair.
Dumb question from us non camping folk, the rear tailgate that becomes the ramp, it can be used as a deck right? Is there a roof for that? Is there a screen that attaches to the roof and floor?
Back in the day, I had an RV, fifth wheel. Put a mover to it cause I hated backing up lol Nice rig you have there. Did you show the back hole, yet with the bikes in it? You said you work from there. You got sufficient internet speed from the camp site Wi-fi? Have a great time!
I have a 17ft travel trailer pulling with a F150 w/5.0....looking at getting a toy hauler, but one that pulls with a 1/2 ton. Do you have any recommendations? Just looking to throw my streetglide in it and leave the fiances heritage at home on trips. Thanks for any input!
For a half ton I think I would look at a Cherokee Wolf Pup. I have always been impressed with those rigs. Really well thought out, good size for one bagger and a couple (even a kid or two) to have fun with.
@@ProfessionalMonkey the dealer by me told us pre-c the toy haulers we were looking at were 20-30k less and the prices were raised just because they could. We bought ours from a friend after we saw that 😅
How many times have you been riding done the rode and come up on a trailer or motor home with the handles partly open dumping going down the rode? I hate people that do this. Twice so far.
I know my plan when I retire is to by a toy hauler so I can take the bike and tour the country in comfort. I camped in a tent for a long time and I am getting too old for that.
I say the Fridge has gas/electric compressor to pump the coolant, which used to be Freon back in the day through the fridge coils. Have fun and be safe.

Interesting. I don't know. Its a struggle, right? I love to ride, but I love my camper also. Eh, it's a great problem to have for sure. The only time it really bugs me is the Florida rallies. I can't ride the few hundred miles cause I have to pull the rig, and for the Florida rallies the 500 miles or so there any back is about as good as it gets.
Ace Ventura - "Like a glove!" LOL

Nice rig. Do you use a surge protector on your power connection. Can't trust the power pole to not surge and trip out.
Also every time I do my black tank all I think about is Robin Williams in the movie RV. LOL!!

I have both on the rig right now. I didn't go into that much detail since this isn't really an RV channel. Stabilizer jack pads, all of that...
Camping changes over age and experience. Now, my camping is hotel or RV. In the army I did my share of dirt living.
